I installed this winch on my 1998 Arctic Cat 500 AKA Frankencat. If you search YouTube you will find my video demonstrating this winch's capabilities. The contents of the box were just as described. I had no trouble installing it on my Arctic cat. The bolt holes lined up with the previous mounting plate. Although the winch comes with a plate, I did not need it. The wires are color coded for those who are not to familiar with electrical things. The remote works very well. The one thing that was backwards is the length of the color coded wires. The ones intended to go from the battery to the contactor were too long and the contactor to winch were too short. I swapped the intended use and it worked fine for me. I tested it lifting my ATV straight up a tree and it did excellent. Then I pulled my 4000# Wrangler up a slight incline with ease. None of the wires or motor were hot after each test. I will keep you posted as to the longevity of the product. ... show more

I'll start off by saying I was a little skeptical purchasing a winch that wasn't one of the big brand name companies. First impression was (this thing is built very well) solid as could be and shipping was quick. I didn't install the winch with the provided bracket and fairlead. I had a winch bumper on my RZR that was perfect for it..now I'll start by saying the install was SUPER simple if you have any sort of common sense, and understand extremely basic wiring....I did have to make my own supply wires to the battery (factory sent ones were to short) but i also have a 4 seat RZR. The cables sent with the winch would be perfect for a 2 seat RZR, so keep that in mind. Secondly after the installation was completed I had a slight issue of the wireless remotes not working correctly. I contacted the company directly and got an almost immediate response! I walked them through the issues I was having and they were super communicative, with answering all questions I had. Needless to say we together determined that the wireless transmitter/receiver was malfunctioning and there wasn't much else I could do. They made everything right, and immediately sent me confirmation of a new winch being sent out. The gave me their sincere apologies, and I completely understand that sometimes things just don't work. Not directly their fault but a possible bug in the manufacturing of the wireless receiver/transmitter. Needless to say they have been an amazing company to work with and probably the BEST customer support I've ever received! I will forever be a lifelong customer! ... show more

I've used this winch less than 10 times to pull out a rzr 570 side by side. The winch now has an issue where it is very weak, and has nowhere near the pull strength it used to have when new. Update: I was provided with another winch free of charge. Thank you for supporting your product!

Winch is if good quality,found it at Home Depot after it was delivered for 104 dollars,pretty easy set up ,but do yourself a favor and pre measure the distance from where you're mounting the relay box to your battery,they sent 5 ft of wire,I needed 10 feet for my 2021 kioti mechron,came out nice though,haven't ran under load but seems to function fine,would be perfect if they gave enough wire,cost me 35 dollars for #4 welding leads for power feeds from the battery ... show more
