What happened to all the old school fans? I was looking for weeks for a small white ceiling fan for my daughter's nursery. This one seemed to be the best fit, although it had a bunch of features i really didnt care about. I just want a light and a fan. This comes with a bunch of fancy dimming and light shades and all that stuff. installation was a bit tough. The instructions are out of order and some steps are just straight up missing. They have extra parts in the box that you can switch out depending on your preference, but i didnt realize that until i was done assembling it. Some of the screws were very difficult to get into place on the product itself and sticking the wifi box in the ceiling took several minutes to get in the right way. Once I go it installed, the product works fine. The light is bright and works great in the room. The fan produces air flow and keeps the room cool, although the difference between low speed and high speed are not noticeable at all. it's pretty quiet which is nice. Because this is a wifi controlled device, you have to leave the power on at all times if you want to use wifi/remote to control the fan. If you turn off the power switch, everything goes back to the default settings (brightness, shade, speed, etc) and the remote stops working. i thought i would be able to hook this thing up to alexa or google home, but nope, that is not possible. and because the power is always on, if you turn off the light with the remote and you have a power blip, the light will turn back on. not ideal for a baby's room. Finally, starting the fan is a little bit weird. It jiggles back and forth for several seconds before it starts spinning. I usually turn it on and give it a hand by pushing on it and it spins up right away. ... show more

The fan came packaged nicely. NO MISSING PARTS!. The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow. The remote control could be a little more durable I think but it works well. The LED light is dimmable and may vary in color from brite daylight to a warm glow with the remote. Apparently it is also a "smart" device compatible with alexa I have not tried this feature as yet. I am very pleased with its design and opperation . I have one dislike. The fans slowest speed is much faster than I would prefer. It would be a much better unit if it had 5 blades and speed was significantly reduced. ... show more

A little over a month after install (just out of the return window) the led light stopped working correctly. You should be able to adjust warmth and brightness of the light. Ours will only turn on a very dim cool color. Amazon won’t step in to help. I attempted contact seller to purchase led replacement and left seller review to no response. The ceiling fan was so cool when it worked. Disappointing. BTW the app in the instruction book doesn’t exist ... show more

Fan looks good, is relatively quiet and works smoothly. HOWEVER, the LED light changes color temp every time the light is turned on. I set it to the warm temp (we like that color the best) using the remote. If I then turn the fan light off (using the wall switch) and then turn it back on, the LED light color is now the cooler white temp. I can't seem to get it to remain on the previous setting. I have to manually change the light temp each time. This is very frustrating. ... show more
