Asurion came through big time
This is the second time I have successfully made a claim on an Amazon extended protection plan for a large television. I will definitely buy an extended plan again on my next television from Amazon. I know everyone says extended warranties are a waste of money and generally I agree. But these larger televisions seems to be a crap shoot any more and staying with the time tested brands is no longer always the wise move OR guarantees any sort of longevity. Ratings and reviews can't always be trusted and it's hard to know what to buy that will LAST. Anyway, this particular television still worked, but did not respond to the remote, to the app, or even to the manual control buttons- I could not change the inputs for DVD, antenna, etc. It's been on since January- if we turn it off we can't reliably get it back on. You just kind of have to stand there randomly pressing the manual buttons until something clicks and it comes back on- maybe/maybe not. All it took was one phone call to Asurion and some information- my claim was resolved within one week and I am extremely happy with both the speed of the process as well as the results. My investment in this television was protected and I was covered. Maybe we can no longer trust manufacturers to make DURABLE goods, but we can use plans like this to protect our investment. Asurion sure came through for me.

Insurance that ACTUALLY COVERS REPAIRS
The sound on our TV was suddenly garbled like a blown speaker - we never keep the volume up either - I was about to buy a new TV but then remembered I'd purchased a warranty. I figured somehow it would be my fault and it wouldn't be covered but they sent someone out, he picked it up on Monday, fixed it and returned it that Wednesday. It was refreshing to actually have insurance that DOES what it says. Everything was covered at no cost and the repairman was friendly, polite, knowledgable and FAST. His name was Luis and he's with SilverETechs!

Fast response, only a few days to get a resolution
I have been using Asuiron for many years, backup the options, fix replace or refund. Never had an issue filling a claim. It is worth the price to pay for the extended warranty, especially on item's costing hundreds to thousands. Asuiron will work with the client, service center and continue until a resolution is resolved. I personally would recommend this service to anyone wanting peace of mind for their devices 💯

Difficult but Protected as Advertised
This was difficult to get coverage for damage to my television at first. I had to file multiple claims. First claim online assessed my damage was not covered. I had contact by phone to submit another claim that had me contact the manufacturer even though I was clearly well outside the manufacturer’s warranty period. Spent a lot of wasted time and effort filing a claim with the manufacturer. I filed another Asurion claim over the phone. After a series of emailing product pictures several times, the product was assessed as non-repairable and Asurion issued an Amazon e-gift card for the purchase price. Asurion protected the product in the end, but it was a long tedious process to get there.

Easy, Peasy!!
When my TV started fading to black I was freaked out! I pulled out the original purchase papers and look, and behold, there was the paperwork on the Asurion coverage and it was still in effect! After a couple of days I was informed that rather than finds a repair service they would be providing me with an Amazon gift card for full value and I will have a brand new TV and a brand new Asurion policy for said TV in time for Christmas! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I got a full refund of my entire purchase price thriugh Asurion
I purchased a lousy Samsung TV some 18 months ago and had problems with it from day one. During the first year, Samsung sent technicians twice to fix some of the problems. When Samsung's one year warranty expired, I filed a new claim online with Asurion as the problems with the TV continued. With absolutely no hassle, and without the need to file multiple complaints, Asurion simply gave me a 100% credit for the full cost of my TV. I was impressed and totally satisfied. My one complaint with Asurion was that it was impossible to reach anyone by phone; I had to file my complaint online - but (surprisingly) that process was quick and easy. A totally satisfied Peter S.

BEST PROTECTION PLAN OUT THERE
Recently our LG TV died. Audition repairman picked it up to repair. After a couple days he reported the tv was beyond repair. Looked as though the same day he notified Asurion they issued a full refund on Amazon gift card. I ordered another tv the same day! was extremely grateful we purchased the Asurion Protection Plan! :)
