I purchased the 4 year protection plan for an epson printer. I have had my printer 3 years. Well while moving, the printer must've got mishandled, but for some reason it had an error code saying that the scanner was not working. Then the screen went black some time later. I reached out to the insurance and they didnt hesitate to get the claim processed. From start of claim to replacement of the printer it was less than 2 weeks. They attempted to repair the printer and it couldn't be repaired so I was refunded and I purchased a new printer. I have had this insurance on several items and any time I've gad to use it they have dud an amazing job.

I have purchased numerous extended warranties over the years for many Amazon purchases from Asurion and never filed a claim until now. It was very easy to file the claim over the phone. They sent me a shipping label to send my Epson ET-4700 printer back because there was an issue with the motherboard and the printer would not turn on. They emailed and texted me when the package was received by them and within two hours later sent an email and text that printer could not be fixed and they refunded me the full amount of what I paid for the printer with an Amazon Gift Card for future Amazon purchases, and the gift card never expires!!! Best money spent for an extended warranty. Will use them again for any purchase that offers an extended warranty.

First time I sent my printer to be fixed, it came back with black powder inside and was not completely fixed. I called and they said I would get a label to return the printer. I waited about a week and no label. I called and ended up speaking with a supervisor and I express my disappointment the printer was not fixed and it was returned with all that black powder. I received the label next day and returned the printer. Two days later I was notified it was not repairable and received an Amazon gift card for the amount ($349.00) I had paid for the printer. Although this claim was a little 'rocky', I purchased the 4 year plan for the new printer as it was worth the hassle.

We purchased the four year plan. TP Link denied their 2year limited warranty because our claim was 2years, 2 1/2 months (but not before 2 days of jumping through hoops). Asurion asked minimal questions, listened to my need for urgency, and resolved the claim. We were paid the full original purchase price, credited to our Amazon account.
