Decided to get the 4 year protection plan on my griddle. After 3 years, when the non-stick surface was no longer non-stick, they emailed me a shipping label, and I was given a full refund of the purchase price. No hassle, and I got my refund the very day I dropped the package off at UPS. Highly recommend!

Overall process was simple. Started by speaking with a rep who walked me through the claim/product return steps. Boxed up the product (coffee maker) for UPS pickup. UPS arrived as scheduled, provided mailing label and took package. Received Amazon gift card via email from Asurion shortly afterwards. Ordered replacement using gift card. Coffee maker arrived promptly. Would definitely recommend Asurion coverage. It’s well worth the few additional dollars.

I'll give five stars but the email was for some reason lost in my Spam folder. You also have to be careful with inputting the code correctly, as there are two different ones within the email, so there are hoops. That said, it does give you your money back eventually. So...this is five stars for me in 2025.

So I been buying a few of these insurance for some of the electric stuff I bought, this time; is for the phone I bought for the store; the phone had a lottt of issues, sometime can’t hear the customer or sometimes the customer not able to hear us, anyway; so it was after the 30 days return window, so I try to file a claim; ( I bought the 3 or 4 years ) called the 1-800 number does NOT work, they wanted me to chat so I did, it says not available?!?!?! Try to call Amazon; NO?!?!?! So I realize I spent the money not only for nothing but frustration!!!! The good news were it helps me to save a lot of money because I will NEVER buy this insurance EVER again. Because; 1st I bought insurance because I thought I could and I DO trust Amazon, but at the same time; I am not the kind of guy would support an company or brand that does NOT back up their products!!!

Asurian responded immediately to our request for a refund on an item we for which we had purchased coverage. We informed them, returned the item and were issued a gift card immediately. Excellent customer service

I haven't had to make a claim with this policy thats on my vacuum sealer for food yet though I had another policy on a solar panel ,I had to use it and they were wonderful, I had no problems with them refunding my payment back to Amazon so I could purchase another panel , so when I bought this Vacuum sealer it was a no brainer about getting the Asurion policy just in case something happens, better to be safe than sorry, I would recommend Asurion to anyone, it's well worth the price, delivered to your email address, and saves the worrying and hassle, just in case something happens...thank you Asurion and Amazon
