This was out first experience with Asurion. We bought the protection plan with the microwave we chose. At 3 1/2 years, the microwave failed. I filed a claim with Asurion on-line. It could not have been easier. There was no hassle of returning the broken appliance. We had our refund the same day so we could purchase a replacement microwave.

Great service! Had a air fryer fail and they sent a gift card the day after i made the claim. Will use them again on my new air fryer.

Asurion refunded the amount of the item but not the sales tax. I had to contact Amazon to get my sales tax. In the protection agreement it stated repair, replace or refund. I was not given a choice. I automatically received a refund. I would have preferred to have it replaced with the same item, which is available.
