For the most part, assembly is pretty straightforward. Then you get to the runners that hold the drawers. They're supposed to roll inward and down over these little tabs, but they just don't fit properly. I tried bending the tabs out, but then the bracket wouldn't sit flush, and it didn't really solve anything anyway. I spent about three hours fighting with these rails. I'd finally get one attached, start working on the next one, and the first would fall off again. Eventually I gave up after a lot of cussing and frustration. My husband managed to put everything together delicately enough that I could take a picture. Even then, you can see that the rail on the second drawer from the bottom has slipped off again. At this point, I don't care enough to fight with it anymore. That's especially frustrating because I like pretty much everything else about these. They look good when they're properly assembled, and I really like that you get two separate two-drawer units that can either be joined together or used separately. They're just the right size for the spot in my bedroom where I wanted something to set a fan on, although they're currently living in my office. The fabric drawers are soft and foldable, with inserts that help them hold their shape. The wood pieces were also well protected, including the corners, and everything besides those rails feels like decent quality. I could see these being really useful in a kid's room, college dorm, bedroom, or office. Unfortunately, the drawer runners made assembly so frustrating for me that they overshadowed everything I actually like about the set. If you can get past that though, the storage compacity is great and the look is nice.

There were no hang ups or confusion when assembling this set. I had no trouble with the directions. It came with extra hardware and extra pieces that hold the two drawer sets together. The drawers are similar to the fabric storage cubes that unfold and have a bottom layer that you put inside. With that being said, I didn’t put heavy items into the drawers. It actually looks nice enough to be used outside of a closet or storage cabinet. I think part of the reason it can look nice outside of closets is because the drawer handles are good quality rather than just made of fabric like many other fabric drawers have. I put this near my front door to hold things that I usually have to go looking around for before I leave. A small flashlight, dog bags, collars, some hats, gloves, and things of similar nature in the top two drawers. The bottom two drawers are like a catch-all when coming into or leaving the house. It’s definitely good storage and good for quick organization for a busy household. It’s easily moveable because it’s not too heavy. So it can change places depending on your needs. The dark fabric does catch my beige dog’s fur though. Not really a flaw of the product, just something to be aware of if you have light furred pets. I added a picture of what you receive when opening it so you can see that assembly pieces are organized and separated well.

These were very easy to assemble, and once put together, the overall structure feels pretty solid. However, I misunderstood a couple of things about the design. I actually measured my closet shelves before ordering to make sure these would fit. The width and depth are fine, but unfortunately the assembled unit is taller than I expected and won’t slide into the space on my closet shelf. So even though I measured beforehand, they still don’t work where I specifically bought them to go. I also thought the drawers could be separated so I could use them as four individual storage drawers. That’s not how they’re designed. The fabric drawers slide into the metal-framed structures and are meant to stay within those units. Had they been separate, I could have still used them on my shelves despite the height issue. I was also a little confused by the use of “wood” in the description. The top is wood/MDF and the frame is metal, but the actual drawers are fabric. The fabric drawers do look a little inexpensive. I offered the organizers to my daughters, and one loves the idea of using them for storage in her closet while the other immediately thought the drawers looked cheap. 😂 Honestly, they kind of do, but for something being used inside a closet, I don’t think it’s terrible. The good news is that the wood/MDF top and metal frame feel sturdy, and overall it’s a decent amount of storage for the price. I think these are a good deal if the dimensions work for your space. Just pay particular attention to the total assembled height, and know that these aren’t four independent drawers that can be separated and arranged however you want.

This is a great little temporary storage chest. Actually it’s 2 chests that can be put in separate places, side by side or stacked on top of each other. Even comes with little metal pieces to join them together with screws. I say temporary because the drawers are made of a stiff cardboard or maybe thin mdf, so they might be subject to damage depending on use. Although, I wouldn’t say they’re super flimsy, just not super durable either. The top is a solid plastic or board with a white “wood grain” textured look finish. It seems pretty durable and the frame is metal. I think even if the drawers don’t last a really long time, you could probably cut a couple shelves to fit in on the frame and continue to use it. I got the larger size and it’s great for my spaces and holds a lot! We have very little space in our bathroom for toiletries so I was able to fit a bunch of different items in the drawers and tossed our laundry basket on top. The 2nd chest went under my daughter’s desk to gather all her art supplies together and keep them organized. It was fairly easy to put together with simple instructions and tools included. The only tough part was a couple of the drawer braces were a little difficult to snap together, but I used pliers to barely pull the prongs out slightly so they snapped in a bit easier. All in all, I’d say this is a great chest for organizing a few things in small spaces. Glad they came in a package of 2.

I’m really happy with these storage units. The overall design is simple and practical, and the two-drawer configuration gives you a surprising amount of usable storage without taking up a lot of floor space. The black finish also gives them a cleaner, more finished look than the typical fabric storage organizers. The wooden tops are a nice touch and make these feel more substantial than basic fabric drawers. The steel frame gives the units a solid structure, while the fabric drawers keep the overall weight down. The drawers are also large enough to be useful for clothing, accessories, toys, linens, or other smaller household items that tend to end up scattered around. I particularly like that they can be stacked as shown, which makes better use of vertical space. Having two units also gives you some flexibility—you can stack them together or use them separately depending on the room and what you’re storing. Assembly is straightforward, and once put together they have a clean, organized appearance. These aren’t a replacement for a heavy wooden dresser if you need something for extremely heavy items, but for everyday household organization, they’re a very practical option.

For a cheap storage solution, these are pretty alright! The looks match the listing, and they're surprisingly stable and sturdy once assembled. As for assembly -- while not stupidly simple, they really are not hard to put together, and the instructions were thankfully quite clear. Size-wise, these are decently spacious, yet are compact enough to fit into my existing closet/room features -- they do not necessarily need to be standalone units. Really, my only complaint is that I wish there was a better way to prevent the drawers from falling out of the back (it's not super easy, but the "guards" leave a lot to be desired). All in all, I'm pretty happy with these drawers.

These SONGMICS stackable storage drawers are fantastic! They were easy to assemble and feel surprisingly sturdy thanks to the steel frame and wooden top. The fabric drawers slide smoothly and offer plenty of space to keep clothes, accessories, and closet clutter neatly organized. I love how compact and versatile they are—they fit seamlessly into the closet without taking up too much room, while still looking sleek and stylish. Highly recommend if you need extra storage!

The item is easy to set up and took less than 30 minutes to assemble everything. The quality is fantastic, and the material looks sturdy and strong. Even though I am completely happy with the product, I feel it is a little bit expensive. The drawers are pretty big and have good storage capacity.
