Don't skip the Asurion protection plan when buying appliances
I can't be happier with the Asurion protection plan. My window ac unit preformed flawless for 3-1/2 years. Then instead of draining outside it started draining inside, alot. I live in Florida which is very humid during the summer season (we only have 2 seasons, hot and hotter). I submitted my repair claim. Asurion immediately refunded me the cost of the air conditioner. I will never buy another Amazon appliance without the protection plan. In fact, I might buy all future appliances through Amazon instead of Lowe's or Home Depot. I'm that impressed.

Reliable and Speedy warranty service
I have had to use my Asurion plan on two different items now; first on my Sony noise canceling headphones and the second on hearing aids that I bought for my older brother. In both instances I can say I was very pleased with my Asurion warranty. On my Sony headphones, I sent them in and they were able to be repaired and sent back to me in a timely manner and I've had no problems since. As for the hearing aids, my brother had the left hearing aid quit working on him and I issued a claim to have them either repaired or replaced and Asurion sent me both a text and email stating they are unrepairable and they issued me back a refund for the full price of the hearing aids. They did this in a very short time frame and I was very happy and surprised with the quick response time! So can definitely say I'm happy with my Asurion warranty. Hope they keep up the great warranty service!

Every Thing was done Without Delay and Thoroughly
We received an immediate response to our claim. Once we had the damaged product returned, Asurion had the gift card for replacement sent to us Immediately. The only reason we gave it a four star is that they did not give us a choice on how we wanted the monies returned. They gave us a gift card to Amazon, where we were purchasing a different product from another retailer. The choice should be given to the insured on whether to get an Amazon gift card or a Visa/Master Card gift card. Outside of that, we are very happy with the Asurion experience in this instance.
