I bought a generator on Amazon and I purchased the 4 yr. Asurion Home Improvement Protection plan. But when the warranty which was supposed to arrive via email by 1-29 still hadn't arrived, I searched my spam, then tried to call Asurion. There is NO way to talk with a live person on Asurion. NOT Acceptable. I actually wanted the 4 yr warranty plan, but when I pay for an insurance policy I want to be able to talk with a human agent. After trying again and again I was unable to speak with anyone. The AI chat was totally useless. They have no human agents, so I have asked for a refund. I would not ever recommend buying from Asurion unless they provide a 24/7 human rep line.

I believe this is the third time Asurion has reimbursed us for a defective product. They make the process through Amazon seamless. Although I consider their insurance fee on a per-item basis sometimes is too excessive, over the last few years it has proven itself to be worth it.
