Asurion is absolutely awesome in my opinion. Through out the years I’ve purchased hundreds of electronic items ie watches, cameras, TVs, security system's, and the list goes on, and many times I’ve purchased the Asurion insurance protection plan just in case. Over the past 2-3 years I purchased a 4 year warranty plan on an awesome camera security, however due to health issues I was not able to install this camera system for two years, during my testing prior to installation I had identified various issues with the system and Asurion attempted to fix the issues, and due to problems with this system, they refunded me the entire cost of the system. I truly appreciate Asurion, their customer service, and commitment to excellence.

If buying a larger ticket item, you should consider the insurance of extended warranty! Had an issue with item and Asurion took care of it! Very satisfied!

The reason I gave a 4 star review is because I paid for the generator with my bank account and Asurion just gave me a gift card without asking how I would prefer my refund

Asuncion came through for us and reimbursed us for a generator we purchased for our home due to power outages and fires, and insured through them. The generator had cost us $1499.00 plus tax and misc. We got it here and tried to use it but it would not stay running for more than a couple minutes. We contacted the manufacturer who basically wanted my husband to work on the generator to try and fix it, himself. My husband complied, but still it did not work. Then they sent out parts for my husband to replace. He did, but it still would not run. After a year of this run-a-round I contacted Asurion and they were able to refund my purchase price within (5) days! I am very happy with Asurion. I am glad I have protected many things I have purchased with them. My 4 year protection plan was well worth the cost.

Asurion has followed through! In the past two months I have put in two claims for generators that broke down ( 1@ 2.5 years / [email protected] years) and within two weeks both clams were accepted and full price refunds were issued in Amazon gift cards. $2200 total!

I purchased a generator and, of course, had to rely on Asurion's "protection" plan for a repair. They set up the repair, but after that, it was radio silence. When I called back, they assured me they’d get a status update. Surprise, surprise—they never did. Today, Aug 2, 2024, I called again and got the classic Asurion runaround. Three different operators later, the last one claimed they couldn't hear me even though my phone was not muted. It's painfully obvious the service center is outsourced to a foreign country because the connection is always terrible, and I can't understand a damn word they say. Avoid Asurion like the plague. They’re a masterclass in how to waste your time and patience.

I bought an expensive battery($1399) 3 years ago on Amazon and bought the ASURION 4 Year Home Improvement Protection Plan. Last month my battery did not get any charge from solar panel, I found something wrong with the solar charging port, I contacted Asurion first by emails, they replied with instruction how to claim. And after several tries, I called the phone that they gave me and got the claim process started right away, I returned the battery as instructed and expected to get it just fixed(because battery still works fine if charged from AC power, only the solar port went bad), what it surprised me is that they gave me a full refund $1399 in a Amazon gift card right after they received my battery, and all this was done withing two weeks, I give it a 5 stars and I strongly recommend their services!
