I wasn't happy with the communications. Asurion would call and only leave a message and couldn't. really understand the message. I'd call them back and it would be like I was always talking to someone else, that had to review the issue again. They said I would get an email with updates, never received an email in the 15 days it took to get the problem resolved. In the end I was happy with the outcome.

I have bought a protection plan a few times but never had to use it—until now. This is the first time I needed to, and here are the issues: 1. They are asking me to ship a grill in a box and drop it off at a UPS store. This requires manpower and a truck, which I don’t have. Amazon didn’t even post my initial review saying it is focused only on the shipping but they don’t get it that this product is about how they deliver the service when customers need it and shipping is part of the experience. 2. Customer service does not respond. I have asked them a few questions, but I have not received any response. 3. They don’t come to fix the issue at your home. This is just like insurance—when you actually need it, they find reasons not to pay.

Absolutely amazing. I buy insurance whenever the item price is at a threshold personally where unexpected replacement of the item would be an inconvenience financially. I am never disappointed that I have spent the extra money to do this. Asurion is fast in assisting me with whatever situation has arisen, regardless of what type of item I have purchased the insurance on. It has paid off many times not only to have the Peace of Mind but also to not be hit with an unexpected replacement cost when I am low on funds

We bought a generator for power outages and got this plan for it. The generator quit running, when we filed the claim and explained the problem your company got back to us within 24 hours and gave us a full refund credit on Amazon as the generator wasn’t fixable.
