  • Furrion 65" weatherproof TV
I purchased a Furrion 65" outdoor tv in 2021 and added the Asurion 3 year protection plan to my purchase. Just a omnth or so ago (April 2023) all inputs to the TV would not work. Cable or Fire Stick non of the HDMI inuts would recognize any devices, so I only got "no signal" on the screen. After calling Asurion about the problem and using my 3 year protection plan, they swiftly got a local repariman to take a look at it. He took the make and model number then up his investigation called Asurion and myself to let us know the TV was unrepairable without a large investment. So Asurion sent me a check, with no hassels at all, for the price I paid for the TV. I had a 75” TV go bad and didn’t have coverage. I just bought an 83” TV and bought this protection just in case. Just hope I don’t need it.

  • LIES! LIES! LIES! DO NOT BUY THIS PROTECTION PLAN
I've spent hours/days on the phone with Asurion after filing a claim for an issue we are experiencing with the Samsung TV that I had purchased a plan for. After filing the claim with the Asurion team, a tech was sent to our house to take a look at some pixel discoloration we are seeing in our tv. The tech verified that there is no damage to the tv caused by us and that the issue is with some pixel discoloration, a defect of the tv. He said Asurion would call back with options to get the tv replaced. When we didn't hear back, I called several days later and they said the issue was screen burn-in, which is not what the tech said. The agent said it wasn't covered in the policy (LIE #1), so I re-read the policy and it made no such claim. I called back and spoke with another agent who verified this is covered and with his supervisor looked at the pictures and reviewed the tech's findings and literally said the words 'We don't see any physical damage and we'll send a second tech from Asurion to verify'. LIE #2 - This tech never showed up. I called back and they claim the tech reached out to us and couldn't get ahold of us. We received NO calls. Then when asked for the timeline of the calls they retracted the statement but then changed the story and said that the claim was declined because the tv was damaged by us and that they would refund me my policy. This doesn't make sense. If I damaged the TV, why refund my policy? I asked that it NOT be refunded and to keep the claim open and for them to send a tech. I received a text the next day stating that my policy was refunded and claim was closed. I called back and upon escalation, an agent stated that in some hidden notes (ones the normal techs can't see??? - MORE LIES) that it states that we clearly damaged the tv. This is a complete fabrication. There is no physical damage. This is a defect in the tv; pixel discoloration that aligns with both what the first tech says and what the supervisor at Asurion originally confirmed via the pictures. No one will call me back and I feel like I'm getting the run-around so that Asurion doesn't have to pay. DO NOT, REPEAT: DO NOT give this company any money. ... show more

  • Eventually solved issue
Had a covered TV fail, manufacturer said it wasn't covered asurion website said it was covered by manufacturer... had to talk to a human. Once I got a human online it was much smoother and after a few more days of phone calls, they refunded me the purchase price of the TV, as it was un-repairable.

  • TV Warranty Claim
The claim process was easy and they were able to get me a refund for my TV since it wasn’t repairable. Overall I was really satisfied with the service and extremely happy that I had coverage after the manufacturer’s warranty on my TV had expired. Totally worth it!

  • They were solid.
Out TV developed ghosting 7 months after we purchased. We provided pics of the problem and they quickly approved the claim and we received a check in 10 business days for the full purchase price. Definitely recommend them.
