I purchased Asurion insurance for a massage gun. Reviews had said the quality of the massager was hit or miss. I usually don't buy product insurance, but I thought the price was reasonable, given what I spent on the massager. During the Asurion warranty period, the product failed. The failure occurred right around the time the supplier's warranty ran out, so I contacted the supplier first. After 5 tries, and no response from the supplier (even though their website said customer satisfaction was their number one priority), I turned to Asurion to see what they'd do. Asurion came through for me. They refunded 100% of the purchase price. When I bought the 2-year policy, I wasn't sure if it would be prorated or a full refund. I was delighted that it was, as it should have been, a full refund. The only reason I didn't give Asurion 5 stars is because there can be some improvement in their communication. I had no idea they had issued me the refund (via an Amazon gift card) until I got a survey asking how they had done. In their survey, they could reference that a refund had been issued, provided the "from" of the email so I could go look for it, and tell me to check my junk emails. When I bought a replacement massage gun, I bought the Asurion insurance again.

Nothing to like or dislike about the protection plan. Too soon to tell. Haven't had to use it yet. purchased the protection because of the price.

I purchased a massage mat and during check out was offered the Asurion protection plan, at first I was not going to get it, thinking what could go wrong, many gurus say they are a waste of money (it wasn't a waste of money for me)... Then at the last the minute I added it to the purchase. The product worked fine one day, the next day it didn't - nothing unusal happened. I remembered I purchased the protection plan, looked up the details, contacted asurion and in about 30 minutes was told I was covered. They emailed a Amazon gift card to me the same day. Asurion was easy to work with and I'm glad I purchased the coverage.

This is my 3rd time using Asurion for my handheld massager that I purchased through Amazon.com, and the online customer service was great each time. Their pricing is also better than any other protection plans I've experienced. I recommend it to everyone I know and even those I don't know. Don't pass up this opportunity to save tons of money on repairs or replacements. Even if they cannot repair or replace they go above and beyond to give you the satisfaction of an Amazon Gift Card worth the price of the product (not the warrantee).
