Short version: FANTASTIC, THANK YOU! I have never been a huge fan of extended warranties, but there are times when it makes sense. Like when the price is right and when you have previous experience with the company. And when the item in question is Necessary - yeah, capital N - like my dehumidifier in the hot and HUMID DC Metropolitan area. The folks heard my cry and fast tracked my case for a refund and I can get a new one before my basement disappears in a cloud of mold. Thanks, Asurion!!

My dehumidifier died after just over a year. I submitted my claim, and it was accepted within a few minutes. Received my money the next day. Couldn't have been easier!

I bought this 3 year warranty to insure that my ceiling fan would be covered with incidental repairs or problems. As it was, there was a problem with the remote. Hopefully this will be remedied shortly by the manufacturer. The cost of the fan was nearly $160.00. Three years of monthly payments at $25.99 would be almost $950.00. I received this fan two weeks ago. In order to opt out of the three year warranty, asurion wants a registered letter at the cost of $14.95 for two weeks worth of nothing! I would give this company less than a one star for satisfaction, if possible!

Having this plan was a smart move. The cost was minimal and definitely worth the protection. When our humidifier stopped working I called and was reimbursed the same day in our Amazon account. The man on the phone was so helpful and asked all the right questions. The plan is sent to your email and it’s also in past purchases on Amazon. Already have ordered a new item and once again bought this protection plan.
