I would not purchase an electrical-electronic device item over $100 that has a limited warranty from the Manufacturer. I always purchase Asurion supported products. They have protected me twice. Each time when I switched Manufacture's for the replacement, I found the quality of the product to be better. Items from China are lasting quality concerns so get Asurion.

I bought a new dehumidifier and bought the Asurion warranty because these dehumidifiers just don’t last. I realized that I had bought the warranty with the one that had just gone out so I filled a claim and got an almost immediate response and within minutes had an Amazon Gift Card sent to my Amazon account. Much easier than expected and well worth it.
