I am personally very skeptical when it comes to buying extended warranties. I decide to buy the Asurion extended warranty when I purchased a $1,000+ dehumidifier through Amazon. Nearly two years after purchase, the dehumidifier began setting error codes and shortly thereafter stopped dehumidifying all together. Literally with one email to Asurion, they had a repair tech here within a few days of my communications. The Tech verified the issue and a week or two later I had a check in my hand from Asurion for my full purchase price. No hassles, no endless emails, no endless voice mails... the process was that easy. I will certainly buy Asurion warranties with all high dollar items I purchase through Amazon. Thank you Asurion!

I bought this with the AC unit and the heater is not working, file a claim and they cancel it on me. They told me it's not covered, it only covers after manufactory warranty which is 10 years from now. however, I have to pay for labor to the AC contractor to come and fix this even Daikin covers the part (limited warranty). They told me the only thing they can do is offer to cancel the plan. I bought my Daikin AC unit from amazon mainly because I know I can purchase this extra protection. Now I can only rely on AMZ to help me. Update: WoW! Asurion has reached out to me to resolve this issue with compensation of the cost of this appliance and also refund me the 3-year premium. I will strongly consider purchasing this protection plan again.

I liked that they gave me the money, except that for my last 2 machines when they stopped working properly I had to ship them out for repairs and then they said they were not able to repair both times. At least I got the replacement money
