Highly recommend! Robot vacuum stopped working after a few years. Filed a claim; received a prepaid shipping label; dropped it off at UPS; received an e-mail several days later which contained an Amazon gift card for the original purchase price. This protection plan was worth every penny!

Getting the extra protection was totally worth it. The vacuum broke 2 times, the 2nd was fatal, and they gave me my money back in full. So rare! Glad I got the extended warranty!

My experience with asurion has been akin to being scammed. Seems like a scam/fraud in that they took my money for this "protection plan" and have pretty much refused to fix it or send replacement/money back. They received it and said it was fixed (got it back the exact same way with no fixes whatsoever). When I sent it back they said nothing is wrong with it. In short, they'll give you the run around, won't fix it, and will do everything possible to not reimburse you. No protection whatsoever. Communication with their foreign based customer service agents also sucks. Theyre not helpful at all. I would never purchase an asurion "protection plan" again. ... show more

    • Prompt handling of issue
I was impressed by prompt handing of the issue related to iRobot Braava mop that was covered by Asurion protection plan. Initially their technical team tried to help me fix the problem remotely and when that was not possible had me send in the product at no charge to me. Within a week’s time they decided that the issue was not resolvable and issued refund of the full purchase price. I was quite impressed with the promptness of their response. ... show more

The warranty claim process was pretty simple. I had to pay about $50 for UPS to box the vacuum that stopped working. Thinking I should get reimbursed for this.
