I never buy extended warrantees on things but for some reason I decided to on the power inverter that I bought. I'm glad I did because it died on me outside of the manufacturers warrantee period. I contacted Asurion and they got me a return label immediately. I shipped the inverter to them and within a day of receiving it they told me that they wouldn't be able to repair it and that they would be sending me a check. I got the check about 10 days later. Terrible scam. I’m still waiting for my refund after four years. This did not cover my electronic after being recommended. Over the years I’ve called with photos, receipts, and called for updates. I’ve been told over the years my case is being worked on but never contacted. Horrible!

Have been trying to get help from asurion for another item.. Item bought on Amazon, insurance bought on Amazon.. Been going back and forth for a long time.. Seems like a waste of time even buying this insurance..
