Full refund for a used computer bought 2-1/2 years ago!
I have no idea whether this is any good or not. I've never had problems with Asurion coverage of cell phones and in fact have had increasingly better experiences with phone replacements every time I've had to replace a phone, the most recent being last night. This is the first time I've paid for an extended warranty on Amazon but this was an expensive purchase of a refurbished commercial grade workstation so I figured I'd hedge the bet. So far though I don't believe I've received any physical evidence of what I paid for here so I guess it comes down to whether I ever make a claim to figure out if this was a good purchase. UPDATE Well, I upped them from 4 to 5 stars cause, sure enough, my refurbished HP workstation crapped out after 2-1/2 years. I'd almost forgotten about this insurance policy because I never buy extended warranties. Going through my amazon history for an unrelated purpose I stumbled across this warranty. Not expecting much I filled out the claim form and they shipped me a box to send the computer for repair via next day air! That thing weighed forty-six lbs. and must have cost a fortune to ship. They wrote back to me 3 days later saying they had to order parts but then 5 days after that they wrote and said they couldn't fix it and put the full price of $599.00 as a credit on my Amazon account. Honestly, though I no longer expect it, that's exactly what insurance is supposed to do and, at least for used items, I will do it again. I just bought a used speaker on e-bay - they use square-trade, we'll see how they compare although I'd rather the thing just keeps working.

Not repairable
This was probably the most trouble free warranty ever. I called explained the issue. I had to go through a little troubleshooting with the representative and then he ended up sending a mailing label and a box to send it back. It couldn’t be repaired but they gave me my money back on an Amazon gift card to purchase another one. Great service!!

Don't buy this plan
I purchased this plan for a computer that I bought from Amazon. The computer quit working, so I called Asurion. I was sent a box to send it to their repair center. About a week later the computer was sent back to me and it still did not work. I called Asurion again but this time I was told that I would have to get it repaired through Lenovo. Lenovo said it was not under warranty and the run around began. I spent over four hours on the phone with this.

This is a MUST when buying any electronic on Amazon
I purchased a micro pc last year and it unfortunately died in a bad way. Luckily I ALWAYS buy the Asurion Warranty. Waited a week for them to ship a box and label, dropped off and waited another week while they attempted to repair. Unfortunately they couldn't fix it and sent a gift card to purchase a replacement. Great warranty and easy to use. I encourage all my family and friends to use this because bad things happen and $5-40 is a great piece of mind for just in case

Excellent communication
I used my warranty on the computer and it was unable to be fixed. They gave me a full refund, which was a gift card that went straight on my account. The thing that was most impressive is that I continually got texts letting me know what the status of my computer was. I will definitely buy this warranty on my next computer. Excellent helping me the entire way through the process.
