My original claim was denied over the phone. She said that because my product was still under the manufacturer's warrantee, I would have to file a claim with them. However, I read on Amazon that all claims for a cracked tablet screen would be honored from day one, so I contacted Asurion a second time and spoke with a more knowledgeable agent, who approved my claim and gave me 180 days to return the item (giving me time to find a replacement and transfer apps and data). They have since refunded the full amount, and have been very accommodating and pleasant to work with. Thanks Asurion!

Submitting a claim was so easy. Unfortunately I've had to submit claims before. I have a little person and they are hard on tablets. Grateful for Asurion. I buy a Protection Plan with every electronic purchase. Even on the phone staff are kind. But you could file a claim without ever talking to anyone.
