My treadmill didn’t last more than nine months. And Asurion immediately processed and approved my refund, crediting back to my Prime account. This is the second time I’ve had to use Asurion insurance. I’m so glad I got Asurion for an electronic and mechanical equipment.

    • Never Never Never purchase this insurance
I purchased a two year repair insurance for my ebike and the company plan states that I need to have a copy of the Asurion email confirming the Plan I purchased and a copy of the Plan itself, in order to make a claim. A little bit more than a year later, I tried to make a small claim and the company changed its terms. It no longer requires the above info, it only requires that I mail my ebike to them and they will take a look at it. However, there is no shipping label, no address to send it to, no payment for the cost for actually sending the bike (box big enough for bike, and stuffing to prevent damage) to them and who knows if they would deduct the return shipping from the actual cost to the small repair that my bike needed. They also require that I fill out a repair form to send with the bike. HOwever, the repair form doesn't say anything about bikes. It just asks me about my computer repairs or whatever little electronic device.. for example, one of the questions was asking me if the volume still worked. Try and get help from any medium they offer and it will end up the same way as putting in a claim.. you end up chasing your tail with automated responses telling you how to file a claim online like the first time you already did. Did I do something wrong when I actually made the initial claim.. according to Asurion customer service via Amazon website "contact the seller", I did not and she gave me the same instructions from which this complaint is based upon. In other words, she didn't actually answer my complaint but only circle talked me. They offered a refund... it is cheaper for Asurion to give me back my money than it is to pay on a claim they promised to fulfill. It is too late for me to purchase insurance on my ebike with a reputable company. ... show more

    • So simple to file a claim
I typically never buy the insurance on Amazon whenever there’s an option. However, I had purchased it with a treadmill a little over a year ago. My treadmill got wet and I had forgotten that I purchased the insurance. Thank goodness I discovered that I had. I filled out the claim in about 5 min and within 30 seconds of submitting it I had a refund code for credit to Amazon. Highly recommend purchasing for your more expensive products!! ... show more

Replaced my broken treadmill cost immediately thank you! Got my new treadmill quickly even had movers to move it where it needed to go! That was amazing. I also bought the asurion for the new treadmill.
