I cannot say this a better way. I bought. Treadmill, it had good reviews, that said it was faulty after a week. I spent months playing phone tag with the manufacturer, waiting on parts and empty promises, until the said they had totally reworked the machine and that it was then out of warranty, despite never actually fixing the product. I activated my warranty by phone and they indicated that I needed to contact the manufacturer, BUT I called in worried they would tell me I had to deal with the manufacturer and tell me tough luck. I could not have been more wrong, I told the operator the situation, they gave me Amazon credit for the full price SAME day, and because the treadmill was big and hard to move they did not make me mail it. I know Amazon credit is not cash and I know that can be a big deal to many people, but for the price this warranty cost me and the fact that they followed through so well I will never buy another product off Amazon costing over 300 dollars without it period. But this warranty if you don't mind Amazon credit, it is absolutely worth the money. ... show more

  • Usually Don’t Purchase These Plans
The information was provided quickly with an e-mail, not sure if anything further comes in the regular mail. I usually don’t buy these type of plans, but since I invested some money in an E-Bike, it was an inexpensive plan for some piece of mind. Hopefully I won’t need it.

  • Extended Warranty Useless for Exercise bike that failed in 9 months - EXTREME runaround by Asurion
UPDATE: Purchased extended warranty from Asurion for exercise bike in April 2021; bike Failed January 24, 2022. Contacted Asurion who said bike still under manufacturers warranty so I had to call Schwinn Fitness. Called Schwinn Fitness and was on hold for 77 minutes waiting to speak to someone. After 77 minutes, an automated message said "current estimated wait time greater than 60 minutes." Their website had a "contact us" form so I filled that out and sent it. Used "Chat" feature to let Asurion know I couldn't reach manufacturer. Explained phone wait time and that the Schwinn Fitness website said labor warranty only 90 days. Asurion said they would handle it and assigned me a case number. Total time spent on 1/24/22 between phone, chat, emails, websites, etc was over THREE hours. NO resolution. 1/25/22 - I received text from LEVT Service (contracted by Asurion as service provider) who asked for photos of bike, serial number, and original purchase receipt. I provided all and then received email from LEVT Service asking me to call them. I called and they said they couldn't do anything until I called Schwinn Fitness. They said Schwinn Fitness would send parts and then LEVT Services would help me get them installed. Called Schwinn Fitness again and have been on hold for over 46 minutes so far. Also sent another "contact us" message with description of problem and my contact information. Total time spent on 1/25/22 SO FAR between phone, texts, websites, etc has been over an hour. Still NO resolution as I am on hold . . . Basically, I have spent over FOUR hours between yesterday and today and am no closer to getting the bike fixed than I was when I started. Extremely frustrating, especially since I spent extra money on the extended warranty. Pretty difficult to contact the manufacturer when they won't answer their phone and their website says "parts replacement can only be handled over the phone." This has to be the worst purchase I have ever made through Amazon. Why bother buying an extended warranty if they won't honor it? ... show more

  • Get the protection, it’s worth it.
Son had an accident with his scooter. Asurion helped me from start to finish, only I paid for was one-way shipping to get it to them, printed label and done. A couple weeks later the scooter was back, as good as new. Definitely worth extending the warranty, especially when it covers accidents. It’s really a no-brainer. ... show more

  • Could be better
So far so good, came to me a bit banged up and scratched. Couldn't get a read on what app I was to link it with, also, because I live in Vegas and it gets very hot in the summers and it leads to a continuous beeping error (E6). At least that's what I think it is. It stops when I'm in a shaded area or I stop and start the scooter. Overall, not a bad buy just wish I had less issues. ... show more
