I bought my husband a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses for Christmas including a 2 year protection plan. Less than 6 months later one of the lenses got a chip in it. They sent a shipping label for us to send them back for repair/replacement. Just over a week later we were refunded the original price on a gift card (not including tax or shipping}. I was able to use the gift card to order a new pair that Amazon delivered the next day. My only complaints would be that no matter how long the insurance plan covered it turns out that once you use it the rest of the plan is void and you have to purchase it again. Also the tax and shipping is not covered on the old or new ones. Both times shipping was free with Amazon Prime but I had to pay tax again on the replacement.
