The device is very easy to use. Charges pretty quickly. And is definitely versatile. Works as advertised. Charges the car pretty quickly. I used it on my 2017 Mercedes Benz c63 AMG. So it has enough power to jump a V8. DO NOT leave the clamps after charging the battery inside the device. It drained my power bank. I contacted the customer support they have arranged a replacement at no cost. Thank you very much. Great experience despite the error.

Just used it today for a coworker, I hooked it up wrong the initial time and told her to start the car, oops. Nothing, no drama, just a little green indicator telling me to reverse the connection. I connected the clamps correctly and it started right up. This unit is very nice and compact, extremely simple to use and obviously idiot proof for a person like me.

Never fails easy to use always starts my truck up just remember to charge it after each use which is easily done from the vehicle in a few minutes with the right charging setup defiantly would buy again I've paid more for other products that do the same thing this is by far the best for the price seems like its made a little cheap on the durability side but i keep it in the bag it comes with along with the cables in my truck under the seat and after having it for about 9 months this thing works great from my use good luck hope this helps...

Been having some battery problems and needing to get my car jump started. Dealership hasn’t been able to replicate the problem so I’ve been on my own for now, which is why I decided to purchase this. I was at home the very first time I tried to use it, and it didn’t work, but that may have been user error on my end because I charged it again and then connected it to the car battery and it worked like a charm! The only thing I can think of is I had the order of operations wrong for connecting the cables the first time, so if you have issues that may be why. I have successfully used it twice now, once to jump my car (2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid) and then jump started a friend’s Honda civic. I’m definitely happy with this purchase and it gives me peace of mind.

The AstroAI S8 Car Battery Jump Starter was so little I didn’t know if it would work or not. It was 75% charged and I didn’t have a very strong adapter with which to charge it and I had called the AAA driver to give me a jump start, but when I showed him the little AstroAI S8, he said let’s try it and see if it works. So he attached the jumper cables to the correct terminals on the battery, told me to jump in the car and try starting it, I did and amazingly it gave a boost of energy and the car started right away!!! I was very impressed and thankful!!!…….Relieved!!! The driver also pointed out to me to remember to press the Boost button!! It only used 25% of its capacity!! I bought a good wall adapter so that I could charge it in the house and that worked great as well. I charged it for about 3 hours and the charge is reading 100% now!!! The ASTRO AI S8 is a great piece of invention and engineering!!! Thank You!!!! Diane

This jumper is real deal. I had a complete dead battery, each time I used it the start was immediate. It is way to easy to use as a female who's out often alone. When I would go to store and my car was dead I felt confident I was ok without asking for help. I got my battery replaced and now I don't use it. Just keep it in my car.
