I ordered this jump starter last November, knowing that I would need it some day. I charged it to 100% when I received it, put it in the truck and forgot about it. Last week I got in the truck to go to work at 2:30 am, and when I turned the key, all I got was a click. I was ready to call in to let them that I wouldn`t be in and then I remembered that I had bought this jump starter. When I took it out of the box, I was really surprised to see that it still had a 100% charge, after more than eight months. I plugged in the cables and hooked them up to the battery and it started right up. It actually started stronger, than when my battery was fully charged. I had to jump it three times that day before I could buy a new battery and it still had a 90% charge. The next day my neighbor`s battery died and he called to asked if I could come over and give him a jump. He didn`t understand when I walked across the street carrying what he though was a cell phone, instead of pulling my truck over. When I showed him this little jump starter, he said "Those things aren`t any good". I hooked it up to his battery and it started it right up. After telling him what had just happened to me the day before and that it was fully charged after sitting for so long, he was so impressed that he asked me to order one for him, which I did. I feel this is something that everyone should have in their vehicle at all times. You never know when you will need it and it is so much easier and faster that asking someone for a jump.
