I have only had the AstroAI T8 2500A jump starter for a week, but I did test it. So easy to use. The Amazon reviews can be misleading as they lump the 1500A, 2000A and 2500A jump starters together. The complaints about the boost button are irrelevant as the design has changed. I completely disconnected the battery from my 2008 Toyota Sienna V6 and hooked up the T8 jump starter. Pushed the "Boost" button (MUCH improved over earlier models). The minivan started immediately! The T8 charge went from 100% to 95%. The company was very responsive to my questions both by phone and email. And there's a 2 year warranty. The storage temperature is not to exceed 158 degrees F. I bought 3! Ok, so I haven’t had the need to jump start yet, but I have full confidence it will deliver, and the cables and clamps are quality.. I have used it to charge my phone, and I’ve used the 12V cig adapter to run my AstroAi vacuum. It powered it without any struggles. Suction was strong, Led was bright. I was able to do front and back of vehicle and only lost about 5% battery. I also like the case it comes with. Mine was missing the wall charger, so I contacted AstroAI support, and without hesitation they sent one out for me. Even after reading many positive reviews, I was still hesitant about buying this. I couldn't believe, like many others, that this small thing could possibly start a car. I had no use for it for months, but was hopeful that it would get me out of a bind one day. I charged it to 96% when I first received it, then put it in my car and forgot it. A couple weeks ago, a customer's car wouldn't start at my work. She asked me for a jump. I remembered this jump box, grabbed it and turned it on and it still had 96% charge! It worked great. As soon as I hooked it up, she started the car and it fired up and immediately drained the jump box to 84%. I saw it work right before my eyes. This morning it was 9 degrees and my car wouldn't start. I got this jump box out and she fired it right up, the beast. It took it from 84% to 80%. Then the same thing happened at lunch AND when my shift was over. My little, mighty jump box came through all day! So far, four jumps now and it still has 72% charge. How great is that? I love the digital display, all bright and big. It flashes the % when it's charging and has 2 brightness settings. It powers right up easily. It has a boost button for bigger jobs, but I've only needed the standard one so far. It has all kinds of output ports for different devices during a storm or whatever. It has a great light that burns steady, flashes, or flashes red for emergencies. Also has a nice little bag to carry, and it has a compass. It will be my new camping buddy for sure. Works great with sv650 although havnt had to use it it fits in the back seat storage compartment with room for a slime tire plug kit and planning on adding in some emergency tools. I also installed a 10gauge eyelet to ce5 connector which didn't fit until I squeezed the connector tips to fit into the jump pack. Will update if issues arrive with the unit. It self checks for correct polarity so wiring is easy and some what idiot proof ... show more

I bought one of these a year go for myself. I’ve used it 3 times. Once on my car & twice for people in the Kohl’s parking lot! It worked every time & I’m pretty sure those people have now bought one too! Definitely beats having to store bulky jumper cables in your car! Very easy to use. Plus you don’t need another car to get yours started! I checked the battery level before posting this as I hadn’t needed to use it in several months & the battery was still at 98%! So now I have ordered more for Christmas gifts! I had a small issue unrelated to the product itself & the customer service was excellent! Good product! It work the one time I used it. But, when it was time to charge. It wouldn’t charge. I recommend to double check if your jump starter charges before the 30 day return or exchange policy. Because mine expired. 🥺 Update!!! Customer Service reached out and sent a replacement. I loved how quick it got here. I drive a lot for work and ever since the cold front my car battery hasn’t been the same. So therefore I have to use the jump starter almost every single day. I jumpstart my truck literally 2-8 times a day (really depending on if I'm only going to work and back, making stop to grocery store or fast food place etc.), with this guy cause my battery died this winter and I can't afford a new battery for it currently. Plus it's just a beater truck that I paid too much for so I'm not that worried. But this thing absolutely works great every time. Jumpstarted with it probably 50 times now and it still is going strong. For some insight I got a 5.4L V8 2001 Ford F-150 I jumpstart and it only takes about 4% of the battery from the jumpstarter if you take it off as soon as trucks started up (2 person job) otherwise about 7%-8% each time which isn't bad at all. Plus it can charge your phone, has a nice little light and a compass and carrying pouch! Definitely exceeded my expectations and is a must have to not be stranded.
