  • Gaming Headset
Color: Grey
I purchased this Logitech G Astro A10 Gen 2 gaming headset for my son, and he really likes it. The sound quality is clear, the microphone works well, and it feels comfortable for long gaming sessions. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and works great across different devices. Overall, a great headset for gaming and a good value for the price. ... show more

  • A lovely new welcome 2024 update
Color: Black/Xbox Edition
(Slight tldr pros and cons below) I’ve had the first gen since 2018 and when I saw the second gen I just had to get them and put old reliable in retirement. As of first getting the gen 2 and writing this review I have loved the 2 gen. Both comfortable and light as well as decent color selection but it’s easier if I do pros and cons Pros 1. Super durable I have twisted them and put them to the test just like my first and still retained it’s shape and no signs of cracks anywhere 2. Comfortability I have worn these headsets for hours on in and I can say for sure it feels like I’m not even wearing them but still feel really secure to my head 3. Easy to clean (can’t say how easy since I have no need to clean them yet other than hair 4. Price I mean you can’t beat a good durable headset for 40-60$ 5. Compatibility works great on my PC, Xbox and my switch but I hardly use headphones for the switch anyways And now onto some cons 1. The headphone jack (atleast for gen 1) is like playing Russian roulette could work up to a year or break next month most notably the audio slider could have it all the way up and only one ear has audio slightly bring it down and both work (recommend getting spare cords Amazon does sell them) 2. Lack of options (more a personal attack) wish there were options for no mics or wireless since I use a different mic for talking And lastly mixed opinion is the audio some say it’s best for single player. I play a lot of games that sound is key such as escape from Tarkov, day z and so on. I personally have not faced such an issue where this headset would struggle I could still pinpoint where gunfire and explosion happen no matter how chaotic with both gen 1 and 2 As of now this is all I can think of I’ll update as I go on but for now I recommend this headset with a just the acceptation of being prepared to buy spare audio cables for the headset. Edit 5/1/24 Wow almost two years and the headset is still going strong i have put ALOT of abuse on the headset so what are my thoughts on it now ? Well the audio slider has given out id say about 9 months in upon purchase but its minor being a small adjustment its working as intended, now onto the cleaning still just as easy just pull the ear muffs off and hand wash let it air dry and continue on. durability still on par as Gen 1 thanks to a nephew they can be thrown off the porch hitting objects such as cars and a tree and still work after plugging back in. Though have notice after some time it will hold what ever bend you put on it BUT it still will not crack or break so yea it was and still is worth every penny. ... show more

  • Awful microphone
Color: Lilac
I purchased this headset because I owned the original version of the A10 for over 7 years and though it was time for an upgrade. If you are looking at this headset for this reason, DO NOT purchase it. Just stick with the old one. I returned this and bought the original version because it is so much better. When I first received the headset it was in fine condition. The headphones are extremely small but it worked okay for me because I have small ears, but they were still pretty uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time, which is not ideal considering these are gaming headphones. Within roughly 4 days the microphone became rather loose. It would only go all the way up into the muted position, or it would fall all the way down and it was no longer adjustable. From the moment I got it the microphone did not pick up all of my audio and cut out extremely often even when my audio input sensitivity was turned all the way up. Within 2 weeks, the microphone had come almost completely detached with light usage (maybe 4 times a week for 3 to 4 hours at a time). I would NOT recommend buying this headset given the quality of the microphone, audio, and fit of the headphones. The only positive thing I have to say about this headset is that it comes with a shorter cord, and I enjoy the array of colors. ... show more

  • Worth the Value
Color: Black/PS Edition
Prior to getting this headset I was dealing with a headset that was getting worn out and needed a new one. I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money and when I saw this headset it caught my eye visually and price wise. At the time of buying this it was on discount so I knew I had to try it out. When I got it in hand it looked even better than it thought it would. I use this for gaming on a Playstation and it makes it very convenient being able to plug it right into the controller which allows me easier mobility. The headset quality is very good and takes the gaming experience to another level. There was one problem I had with it, when I first got it the sound would go from one side to the other. But it was a simple fix of unplugging the wire from the headset and putting it back in. As time went on from me purchasing it the issue has gone away. There was also issues with some audio being too loud or too low but it was able to be fixed just by mixing the settings. ... show more

  • So comfortable and a dupe for the expensive ones!
The Logitech G Astro A10 Gen 2 is hands-down one of the best gaming headsets I’ve used! The sound quality is crystal clear, with deep bass and crisp highs that make every game immersive. The comfort is fantastic too — even after hours of gaming on PS5, PS4, or Xbox, my ears never felt sore. Setup was a breeze, and the cross-platform compatibility means I can use it anywhere without hassle. The microphone is clear for team chat, and the build feels durable and well-made. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality wired gaming headset that delivers great sound and comfort at a reasonable price, the Astro A10 Gen 2 is a no-brainer. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Acceptable $50 headphones, but you get what you pay for
Color: Grey
I bought these headphones at the recommendation of a friend. I chose to buy these headphones because they were cheap, functional, and looked decent with my sleeper build PC setup. I went from the Razer Kraken Ultimate to these, and I want to talk a little bit about my experience from the perspective of someone who cares most about audio quality, comfort, and experience, with a brief note at the end about the aesthetics. In terms of audio quality, you're getting about what you pay for. These headphones are around $50, and they feel like $50 headphones. The audio quality will be better than most cheap earbuds, but is easily outclassed by other headphones in the sub $100 range. In terms of how they compare to the Kraken, it's similar but slightly different. The mids on the Astro A10 is slightly better, but the bass is slightly worse. If you look them up on rtings, you can see what I mean visually, but bass doesn't sound as deep on the A10. To compare, I listened to a couple of songs I know by heart back to back with the two headphones, then swapped the headphones back and forth to pick out the finer details. To talk a bit about comfort, these headphones are *not* over the ear headphones, and using them as such will lead to discomfort and pain after around about an hour. To put on the headphones, you need to make sure your ear slides under the cup and into the grove. Once there, it's fairly comfortable, as there isn't much clamping force on your head and it feels padded enough. I can wear these headphones in this way for an entire day (+/- 7 hours) without noticing any discomfort. These headphones do not have any bells or whistles with them. They are packed inside a mostly empty box with a pretty basic manual, though the company does provide an aux splitter if your computer requires the sound input and sound output to be spread across 2 3.5mm jacks. These are plastic headphones, and while the plastic does look and feel premium enough, they likely cannot sustain multiple falls and will likely start to show grease marks over time if not properly cleaned. These do not have noise canceling, or even a functional mute, as far as I can tell. Although every online guide will tell you to simply point the mic up to mute your headset, this does not work at all (more on this later). The cable is removeable, which is a massive improvement over my old Kraken Ultimate, but that isn't saying much. To touch briefly on aesthetics, just because I find it interesting, the main color of this headset is an almost perfect color match for an original Super Nintendo (SNES) North American controller, with the lavender cables being a near perfect match for the lavender buttons on the same controller. I find this pretty interesting because none of the product shots show this off, which seems like it would be an obvious thing with the new Nintendo Switch Online SNES controller being released a couple years back. Here is the most critical part of my review: the build quality. Within a few days of using the headset, not even for very extended periods of time, my microphone became extremely floppy. Eventually, it became freely moving, and would just flop all the way down if not in the upright position. This can be fixed, but you need to disassemble your headset nearly fully on the left ear and tighten the screw that keeps it in place, which suggests to me that this will be a reoccurring issue. Additionally, this is where I found out that the muting feature was really only a thing for the original A10s, and not the A10 Gen 2 (which is this listing). When pointing the microphone up, you can feel a slight bump along the track, which I figured was the indication for the muting feature (though it didn't actually mute the headset, so I figured mine was faulty). Come to find out, upon opening the headset, it's just a bump in the plastic intentionally placed there to *feel* like it's doing something, but doesn't seem to be attached to any electronics. There seems to only be a single cable coming off of the microphone arm, which has no way of detecting at what angle the arm is adjusted to (this is as far as I can tell. I did not remove the circuit board fully to determine this since it wasn't necessary for my repair). It is inexcusable that the headphones malfunctioned to this degree after about a week of pretty light use, and a person who is inexperienced with disassembling technology will likely break these headphones upon attempting to repair them because of the way some parts are positioned. My advice, if you are completely unfamiliar with opening up electronics and need to do this repair, is to open things very slowly. Wires are in very inconvenient locations on this headset and the speaker itself is fairly difficult to remove by hand and will keep the outer panel attached to the headset until you disconnect it. ... show more

  • A downgrade from Gen 1s.
Color: Black/PS Edition
I've had my Gen 1s for about 6 years and used them quite a lot as someone who is into competitive gaming. Paired them up with the Astro Mixamp and I was able to get premium sound on a budget vs buying the full A40 set. Well, after having the rubber mic piece starting to crack (now secured with duct tape) and one ear piece pad fall off (now secured with hot glue) I decided to look into a new headset. Decided to give these Gen2s a try and man, what a big disappointment. They look and feel great to the touch but that's it. The ear cups and significantly smaller and the headset is smaller too. This headset is definitely made for people with small heads and below average sized ears. The Gen 1s fit me well with the arms extended all the way and my ears were mostly inside the padded cups. With these Gen2s, I can feel my ears being pulled upwards due to how small the headset height is, and the ear cups definitely squish down my ears cause they won't even fit around like Gen1 did. I don't even have large ears, not am I obese to the point where my head is fat, yes I have a large head but nothing out of the ordinary. Got them this morning (thank you Amazon for the great quick delivery) and already returned them after wearing them for less than 10 minutes cause they immediately felt wrong. One positive star for style, and one positive star for a quality feel when handled. That's it. Hopefully they don't discontinue the Gen 1s cause they are great for the price and the Mixamp addition does make a significant improvement. I even tried using a $160 Epos Headset with mixamp and it sounded bad to the point of giving my ears faint damage. ... show more
