  • NOT a dirt bike NOT a dirt bike
Color: Black
I have not tried it out yet but I'll come back and edit my review after a few days. EDIT: it’s been awhile and I completely had to replace the tires and get better ones because the originals would NOT hold up on dirt. EDIT: second time using it on road and dirt and the back tire did not survive. I don’t recommend using it on dirt roads at all. EDIT: This bike is freaking amazing! The speed it goes without pedaling is about 29mph which honestly is not bad. Where i love there's almost no sidewalks so I had to get on dirt and rough ground for awhile but it held up and the battery on level 5 only went down to half after using it for 30 mins. The tires held up the air, the light is bright, the horn is loud and the seat is comfortable enough. I really really recommend this bike to anyone starting out on electric bikes. The instructions were non existent so I had to use common sense and whatever pictures others had posted to see how to put it together. But, as a non-mechanic "smart" girl, I figured it out and it has not fallen apart.... yet. (It did not fall apart) ... show more

  • Please put better brakes. It's a great product, but better brakes.
Color: Black
The bike looks really nice. A lot of bikes look kinda dorky to me. This one doesn't. Acceleration is nice. It's dunn to ride. The range is great so far. I've used it twice to go to work. It's 20 miles by the time I get there I have 1 bar left on the battery. It's back fully charged in about 4.5 hours. Great for my 8 hour work day. It's about the same in my way back. Ride is 1:40:00 all throttle. Very little pedaling. The head light is bright AF. The horn is kinda funny, but it's there. The multiple security features are cool. After everything I'm about to say, over all I'm happy with my purchase. I feel kinda enthusiastic about going for a ride. Now for the bad parts. First and most important. The brakes that come in it are trash! For the speeds it reaches and the weight of the bike those brakes WILL NOT STOP YOU! Someone pulled out in front of me on one of my first top speed runs and I had to shoot to the left curb between them and the curb. Fortunately it already comes with a brown seat. Speaking of the seat. The padding is a bit too small at the front so your legs are on the metal frame. After those long rides it gets a bit tender on the inner thigh. I didn't notice it going on a beer run or getting something to eat near by. Another thing on the cons list is the display. I'll have to figure out how to calibrate it. The speed is way off, the mileage, the battery. It does have a battery gauge on the battery. That one is correct. The display is so cool looking n but useless. Not a single thing on it is right. The pedals couldn't handle my weight very well either. 230lbs, I stood up once and they very quickly let me know I should sit back down. To make it more my own. I did replace the brakes snd the pedals. I added a trunk, a phone mount, turn signals a mace holster and mace, side view mirrors. I think that's it. A little battery block to charge my phone and a little speaker coming soon. ... show more

  • In Short: Don't waste your time or money on this. In Short: Don't waste your time or money on this.
Color: Black
((edited after testing)) I have to say, you have a BIG problem with quality control, here. Frankly, the only thing even worth anywhere near half of what this thing costs (almost $660 total) is the frame (and even that is pushing it). 1) Just as some others have pointed out, this thing arrived with some major components missing - about half of which are Necessary BOLTS. I had to pull the bolts from another bike, just to replace them. 2) The owners manual is an absolutely terrible joke. Even following the exact directions listed, *I* cannot access anything necessary in the system, which only adds to problem #3. 3) The digital controls; without the "smart card" (which, honestly, should be at least a little bigger), I cannot even get past the initial "code" screen, if that's what it is supposed to be. Adjusting the display brightness is a no-go. That thing STAYS on maximum brightness, no matter what. 4) Just the battery pack, alone, already scarred up, when I pulled it out of the box. And the charger pack is WAY past even "questionable", and half of the "original" parts don't even fit correctly; in particular, the rubber "clamp holds" for the headlight. Literally, about 50% of this thing is basically just for show (including the flashy rear suspension shock) and "front gussets". Size? Okay-ish. IF you're not My height. At 6' 1", I almost look and feel like I'm trying to ride around on a children's trike. Honestly, this thing needs to be a bit LONGER, especially from Saddle to Pedals/Crank. Comfort? If I'm not pedaling, then yes, it's alright. Appearance? Ya, that is just about all this thing really is; it LOOKS nice, but that's about it. Stability is questionable, with the thin-walled tires, if you're going anywhere over 15 MPH. Battery life? Unfortunately, this is just another terrible joke. Honestly, if I had not already had to put my own parts on it, to replace what is missing and Should Not Be missing, I would be sending this thing back for a full refund. Now; After not even a 15 mile test ride, the throttle is jammed - somehow, just walking the bike, the motor kicks in, nearly full-power. Even after a full charge, the battery drained exponentially (and I'm talking over 40% in less than two minutes). The charger (which has a built-in fan, mind you) has also overheated and already no longer works - A laptop charger is literally more functional. The front fork is just about as bad, being fully welded together - even if you need to fix that, you're out of luck, which, already creates its own myriad of problems which I won't get into. ... show more

  • Cant beat the price! Cant beat the price!
Color: Black
**ASKGO Electric Bike — Real World Review** *48V 20Ah | 2500W Peak | 20" Fat Tire* **The Ride** Took this thing from Mansfield out through Grand Prairie, Arlington, and into Dallas — about as honest a shakedown run as you can do in the DFW area. Dallas streets aren't forgiving. Potholes, rough pavement, uneven transitions — if a bike is going to rattle apart or ride like garbage, you'll know it fast out there. It held together. No wobble, no sketchy handling, no parts falling off. For a budget fat tire ebike that's not nothing. **Range** This is where it gets real. The box says 100 miles. I did roughly 12 miles of stop-and-go city riding on PAS 1 and came back at about 40% battery. That math doesn't get you to 100 miles — not in real world conditions. Riding mostly on second gear assist through urban terrain, half battery remaining after that distance is decent but nowhere near the advertised range. Flat highway cruising on PAS 1 with strong pedaling might push that number up significantly, but 100 miles is a best-case lab figure, not a street figure. **Performance** 2500W peak sounds impressive. In practice it moved well, kept up with traffic where needed, and handled the rough stuff without drama. Hit 32MPH? Possibly on a clear stretch — didn't verify that specifically but it has the power to get there. **Suspension** Dual suspension earned its keep on Dallas streets. You felt the hits but they didn't transfer straight to your spine. Fat tires also absorb a lot on their own. Combined, the ride quality is genuinely comfortable for a bike in this price range. **Noise** It's noisy. Motor whine, maybe some chain or drivetrain rattle — nothing alarming but you notice it. Not a dealbreaker but don't expect it to be whisper quiet. **Build Quality** Feels solid enough for what it is. Nothing felt cheap or loose after a real ride through rough conditions. First impressions on fit and finish are acceptable. **NFC/Password Unlock** Powered up and functioned without issue. --- **Bottom Line** If you go in expecting a true 100-mile range bike you'll be disappointed. If you go in expecting a capable, sturdy fat tire ebike that handles real streets, real weight, and real conditions without falling apart — this one delivers. It's not perfect. It's noisy and the range claims are inflated like every other ebike on the market. But for the money, it rode better than it had any right to on some of the worst pavement in Texas. **Solid 3.5 out of 5.** Buy it knowing what it actually is. ... show more

  • Great value and speed, but needs a couple of minor upgrades Great value and speed, but needs a couple of minor upgrades
Color: Black
Great value and speed, but needs a couple of minor upgrades I've ridden this bike for a little over 20 miles so far, and it performs exactly as advertised. I saw some reviews pointing out that the speed isn’t accurate, but you just need to adjust the settings. Change mode P08 to 100, and it will unlock the full max speed of 32 mph. Assembly was also fairly easy. The only issues I have are with the seat and the brakes. The seat isn't very comfortable, and the brakes are honestly pretty bad if you are trying to slow down quickly. Other than that, you really can’t beat it for the price. Everywhere I go, people ask me about the bike and are completely shocked when I tell them how much it cost! ... show more

  • Have some wrenches on hand.
Color: Black
Very fun bike. Easy to ride. Recommend getting rear view mirrors. Putting together was very easy. I would recommend having your own sockets. You could use theirs some of the tools they give you are decent but not all of them. Also some of the components needed to be tightened at the same time. Highly recommend having some wrenches handy. Over all performance I like. I live on the miame river trails. Without peddling it doesn't do great on inclines. But for commutes it is excellent. ... show more

  • This bike is nice
Color: Black
It’s a nice bike! It comes 90% complete you just have to put on the front wheel. It’s price is nice for the bike. The bike seat can use more cushion however it’s not bad for short trips. And the battery life ok I’m going off miles per charge and it’s only about 16miles to empty and man I tell u when it’s dead peddling it will make ur legs very strong haha seriously it’s a great bike I wish my delivery was smooth to have an better experience sorry I didn’t put up videos because of that however get you one there nice. Also the motor is a 750 watt definitely not 2500 unless the owner of the company can tell me how to get it to peak 2500 other than that 28mph 30mph down hill. Also they have good support for the bike like brakes and really it’s a nice bike! ... show more

  • Missing parts and manufacturing defects
Color: Black
I bought two of these bikes and I regret both purchases. The first one was missing a nut that held the front tire together. In my confusion with the missing nut I used the silver one that was a place holder for the front wheel. Did not fit all the way in the screw for the wheel. So when I hopped off a curb the front wheel popped off and I was injured and had to go to the emergency room. I figured this was my fault for being overconfident and wreak-less. So I bought a replacement one since the first got stolen as I had to go to the ER. But this new one I have now? It has the missing nut that the first bike didn’t have. But the back roter is warped and the bike makes an annoying noise while riding as it’s pressed against the back break pad. So now I have this issue with the bike that is going to cause it to ware out very soon. Between the cost of these two bikes I got have gotten a better bike honestly. The shipping was the only thing I was happy about. Arrived pretty quickly. ... show more
