Bright, thin, attractive, and attaches easily with two screws (included). It has an accessible switch to change among three color temperatures but no on-off switch. The trim piece that you have to remove to wire it is attached with tiny screws - don't lose them. The knock-outs are too small to fit standard 1/2" strain relief clamps. A plastic press-in strain relief fitting is included, but it seems suitable for lamp cord, not fixed installation wiring, There are no installation instructions included, but it's easy to figure out. ... show more

    • Bright, easy to install, good choice in colour temperature
I purchased four 12", one 18" and one 24" units to illuminate my kitchen cabinets. The bull nose style provides good coverage on the countertop. The hard wire option is what I was looking for so that I could wire them to a wall switch. I used standard romex to wire them in, and the included bushing worked well even when connecting two wires to one unit to wire in series. I had to strip the outer sheathing to end at the bushing, but was able to wire them with no issues. I positioned the lights about 1/2" from the front of the cabinets to maximize the light at the front edge of the countertop. I also centered each unit under each cabinet. Being able to choose the colour temperature is nice. I prefer the 5000K but my wife likes the 4000K. All of the colours are consistent from fixture to fixture. Having a power switch on each unit also allows me to turn of fixtures that are not being used if needed. One item of advice when installing, do not remove the small screw holding the wiring access panel on the rear of the unit. The directions say to loosen the screw, but I did not pay attention. Reinstalling the small screw once the unit was installed was difficult. If you loosen it (as the direction say!) and slide the panel off, reinstalling it and tightening it down are much simpler. I did use different wire nuts than provided when wiring two fixtures together. The wire nuts provided would probably have worked but I used the next size larger to make installation easier. I also like the 5 year warranty. Many similar units only have a 90 day or 1 year warranty. Standing behind your product for 5 years is great. ... show more

These lights work well and you can adjust the color with a switch. The compartment for making the electrical connection is very small, it is very difficult to get a 12 or 14 ga wire inside. It would be better to run some very small wire to the fixture but that may not be possible for a retrofit.

These lights are so light and thin. Has 3 different shades by button - bright white / medium with amber glow / warm light. Very easy to install. We completely changed out all fluorescent light for these. Super happy with them.

I had tried to upgrade our super old under cabinet lights with LED bulbs and added LED compatible dimmer switches, but they flickered like crazy. These are much brighter, color temp selectable (3 options) and NO MORE FLICKER. The only problem I had is the folks who wired my original fixtures left almost no slack, which made this harder to connect--having another person would have made it significantly easier. Purchased 2/40 inch and 2/48 inch in June,2023 and May 2024 one of the 48 inch lights stopped working. Trying to get in touch with customer support to see if they will warranty the light. Other than one just stopped working with only 11 months and rarely on. The lights are easy to install and bright. I hope this is a one off and not indicating these are only going to last a 11 months. ... show more

Our light above our kitchen sink was broken so we thought we would try this one out. Love it, you can have it really bright when you are doing dishes or you can dim it down if you want it for a night light. So easy to install took the hubby a couple of minutes.
