Very bright and high quality light
The light stands about 6 feet and 4 inches above the floor and can really light up quite a large area at full brightness. Brightness is adjustable and the light quality is excellent, very pleasant even at full brightness. The light is on the heavy side and pricey, but provides excellent light quality for reading or doing work that requires good illumination. Recommended for areas where you want better quality light than most lights can provide.

Clear, Bright Light!
My Mom likes to sit in the corner and knit baby booties and hats to give to friends or donate to the church or local Army base. I bought her this light to help with the task. She is 86 yrs old. The light is revelatory! She can now thread a needle for stitching and work with dark colored yarns easily. She says the effect is similar to the before and after of her cataract surgery - now colors are bright and clear! What more could you want? She does not like the styling - it is a bit clinical looking - but is willing to forgive the looks because of the functionality. This is saying a lot since my Mom is quite particular. Overall a great purchase. The gift of sight!
