My Mom likes to sit in the corner and knit baby booties and hats to give to friends or donate to the church or local Army base. I bought her this light to help with the task. She is 86 yrs old. The light is revelatory! She can now thread a needle for stitching and work with dark colored yarns easily. She says the effect is similar to the before and after of her cataract surgery - now colors are bright and clear! What more could you want? She does not like the styling - it is a bit clinical looking - but is willing to forgive the looks because of the functionality. This is saying a lot since my Mom is quite particular.
