This unit arrived in 3 boxes. The frame and ribs were easy to assemble. If you're not putting this on a slab, attach the frame to wood. I put it on 17' L 8"x8" board (railroad tie) which is secured with 18" spikes in the ground. Be sure to square up & level the frame before attempting the roof panels, or it will be impossible to match up the holes. This carport is perfect for my SUV to protect from the sun and huge hail we get every summer. Love it! ... show more

In my opinion I would have been happier at $1200 for what it is, not complaining except the fact some panels did not line up and be ready to cut the corners off so no one gets hurt, not a big deal with good metal shears. This is a really convenient little carport. I assembled the frame within a couple of hours and finished the covering the next day. It takes longer to put the top cover on. It comes in 2 boxes. The instruction booklet is with the sheets of metal for the top and not the frame. It's pretty straight forward assembly. There is plenty of room for a full sized SUV or truck. Bought two back on Sept. 1, 2019. They arrived about the 16th. One for me and the other for my nabor (he paid me back). I gave 4 stars for assemble, but it wasn't all that difficult. I waited till now to review because I was waiting for a good snow storm to check the snow load capacity. As you can see from images 04 & 05, it held up just fine and it was a wet snow. Others complain that it isn't sturdy enough but, as you can see, it stayed up for me and my nabor. I would recommend this carport for anyone looking to protect their property. This thing is horrible!! Leaks like a hose has just been turned on, horrible design, flimsy, not straight. Pre drilled holes don’t line up, if you don’t have it on 100% level surface, it doesn’t work at all!! This is a complete waste of money and time! DONT BUY THIS THING!! I think my husband and I are going to need marriage counseling after trying to set this thing up!! It’s a joke!! The roof is a horrible design!! Whoever manufactured this piece of crap was probably drunk, high and completely stupid!! You can’t return it, after putting all your time and money and spending more money to make this thing kind of work, you won’t want to touch it again!! ... show more

    • Take your time, triple check your measurements, get a quality drill with a clutch.

400 lbs of carport kit delivered to the exact site of construction. Instructions are graphics and Arrow has a video which helps to understand the construction. Measurements are critical to get exact. Other wise the roof panels will not fit. The diagonal measures for the parallel walls must be exact. Use a tape measure. Anchors will throw the measurements off. Triple check as you set the anchors. This carport is 7ft which allows the bottom side panels to be at face level. I left the lower panels off to avoid any accidental injuries. Good quality and easy construction.
