  • Easy to put together - labeling of parts need improvement
Style: Dual Entry Shed
If you have the slightest understanding about construction or can assemble a Lego set.. you should be able to build this shed no problem at all. I was able to build this shed and get it set up for way less than building a wood shed or buying a prefab. My only complaint: I wish the pieces were labeled a little better. I'd did have to disassemble it 1/2 way through construction to re-orient the floor pieces. After construction. I've also noticed I put one of the corners in the wrong spot of the shed - which is only noticeable due to the makings for the shutters being on that corner. Not a huge deal but it's extra work that now I've gotta grab the tape measure and drill holes in it... the option is completely disassemble the shed to fix it (not doing that for a shutter lol) Other than the labeling issue. This is an unbeatable value for what you get.. a rugged and insanely easy to put together shed for a fraction of the cost of wood. I'm confident it it will last (see other reviews that are over 10 years old) ... show more

  • Great shed
Style: Dual Entry Shed
The 15x8 ft lifetime shed is a great shed. It was a little bit difficult to put together but I expected it to be, after all it's not a deck box. It's a really good buy. My wife and I assembled it in about a day, also you have to have a level and hard surface to put it on. If it's not level you will definitely have trouble getting the doors to work correctly. I didn't even open the instructions, lifetime has an awesome video on YouTube where a guy actually builds one explaining every step every screw and part as he assembled the shed, right through completion. Was awesome! Feels really sturdy, lots of room. I chose to build a wood platform for mine out of treated lumber. It was cheaper than cement. ... show more

  • Decent shed with some hiccups
Style: Dual Entry Shed
Shed is basically as advertised. Its good except for two things. 1. I now understand why some people say the directions make assembly difficult. Its not so much the directions themselves, as it is the manufacturer failing to label all the parts! For instance, the roof struts will have a three letter code to identify them, say "XYX".... OK. So you look at all the metal parts and realize NONE of them have any letters on them. Not a sticker, not a stamp, no identifying letters at all. No, you have to compare the tiny little picture in the manual, and measure the length to make sure you have the right roof strut. Same thing with the wall panels...they could have VERY easily put the three letter code the book uses on the part...but they decided not to, which means you now you need to do extra homework taking time comparing the part the step calls for to what you have laid out. Extremely annoying and unnecessarily prolongs assembly. 2. The stupid skylights. Personally, I would have done without them, and I wish that was an option. 24 screws with nuts you have to deal with installing the flimsy plastic panel with this soft rubber "sealing tape". I could just tell they were going to leak, and sure enough first rain, puddles under both. Lifetime should just include a can of flexseal with these sheds, because that skylight design is trash. Otherwise, no complaints about the shed. Does its job, should hopefully last a long time. ... show more

  • Warning do not buy
Style: Dual Entry Shed
I bought this because it was supposed to be easy to assemble and have its own base however the base was warped because it is abs the walls do not snap in place very well or easy and the instructions were no help I even called the help line without any success finally I got angry and just forced it together now I have to make a prayer and hope that it does not leak so I can store my lawn equipment in it without worries I do not recommend this product to anyone . I even tried watching and following ten different videos and instruction booklets that were no help they just made it more confusing to assemble. I don’t recommend this shed for its ease of assembly or instructions if this is what you are looking for look elsewhere. I found it very disappointing in all aspects from all angles thus my rating of one star if I could give it less I would.the products assembly holes do not always line up so you may have to recut them I found it not very stable for wind resistance I had to add my own bracing to keep it flying off its foundation the product is not worth the value for the money. Once again I do not buying this item ... show more

  • Great shed
Style: Dual Entry Shed
Great shed, not overly complicated and much easy after watching the YouTube links in manual. Solid and well designed. Functional and no leaks. Size is perfect.

  • Pretty good shed
Style: Dual Entry Shed
I would have rated this a 5 because of how happy I am with the shed once built. But putting it together was no joke and at point the instruction can get confusing. It also takes 2 to 3 people working all day to get it together. My brother and I did most of the work and it took 2 days. I also did not realize how flimsy the floor is. The shed needs to be on concrete or wood base. I thing the ground would work once level. I put mine on a rock foundation. It works but I can feel the rock move when walking inside. I would not recommended foe this size of shed. Other than that it's a very functional building now. ... show more
