  • Great shed, a real looker, and meets all storage and use expectations!
Style: Dual Entry Shed
Really like our Lifetime 15×8 Ft Dual‑Entry Outdoor Storage Shed. The 2 double wide entry doors enable easy entry and storage options. Solid and water proof with sky lights, windows and vents, and looks so nice like a little house, very good design. I added some 18" x 18" decorative walking stones to the provided floor and have a workbench so after easy removal of bikes and lawn mower it becomes a workshop. I highly recommended this shed that I expect will outlast a wood shed and the price is really good compared to wood sheds that require initial painting, sealing and shingles, including on going maintenance. Hope your Lifetime shed of selected size, if purchased, serves you well for many years. ... show more

  • Putting this together is seriously a pain
Style: Dual Entry Shed
When I read the reviews, several of them mentioned that it's difficult to put together and the instructions are not very good. Those descriptions are a polite understatement. This was a nightmare. You *NEED* three capable adults who get along and have patience for this. Do not build this with your spouse unless you are very confident in your marriage. You have to build a platform for it, absolutely. If you're thinking about skipping it... don't. The instructions will require at least two people to squint at it to decipher. The panels will warp if left in the sun unassembled. We found that out the hard way. Now that's it put together it's super cute and sturdy... but I should've listened to my husband when he says he can build me something. ... show more

  • Decent shed with some hiccups
Style: Dual Entry Shed
Shed is basically as advertised. Its good except for two things. 1. I now understand why some people say the directions make assembly difficult. Its not so much the directions themselves, as it is the manufacturer failing to label all the parts! For instance, the roof struts will have a three letter code to identify them, say "XYX".... OK. So you look at all the metal parts and realize NONE of them have any letters on them. Not a sticker, not a stamp, no identifying letters at all. No, you have to compare the tiny little picture in the manual, and measure the length to make sure you have the right roof strut. Same thing with the wall panels...they could have VERY easily put the three letter code the book uses on the part...but they decided not to, which means you now you need to do extra homework taking time comparing the part the step calls for to what you have laid out. Extremely annoying and unnecessarily prolongs assembly. 2. The stupid skylights. Personally, I would have done without them, and I wish that was an option. 24 screws with nuts you have to deal with installing the flimsy plastic panel with this soft rubber "sealing tape". I could just tell they were going to leak, and sure enough first rain, puddles under both. Lifetime should just include a can of flexseal with these sheds, because that skylight design is trash. Otherwise, no complaints about the shed. Does its job, should hopefully last a long time. ... show more

  • Don't do it!
Style: Dual Entry Shed
I normally don’t review things, but this whole experience and product has just been so bad. I use Amazon so often and have never had any kind of experience like this. First of all, the delivery was absolutely Horrible! If I ever think about ordering something large from Amazon, I won’t do it if CEVA the delivery company - it's not worth it, I’ll buy it anywhere else. First, they gave me a date/time twice (which I took off work to wait for them) & they pulled a no-show both times. When they finally did arrive, the guys didn't look weak, but they wouldn’t (couldn’t?) physically walk the heavy items on their dolly to the side of the house. They said they would only leave it by the driveway or front door, but they would place it by the side of the house or in the back yard IF I paid them an additional $60 cash only (no credit card or check) Sound a bit shady? Of course they were planning to just pocket the money, right? (I wonder if this is the CEVA policy?) My little teenage kid & I ended up rolling the packages on our dolly to the side of the house. I'm a 110 lb. female, and my kid weighs maybe the same. I really think CEVA should hire people that maybe can actually move heavy items on a dolly if that's supposed to be their job. Never again will I ever use them if I can help it! The shed kit itself… again, absolutely the worst product I could have tried. We followed the directions, which were laid out very well, even watched the YouTube videos along with the instructions as we went. Everything seemed to line up well, we got all the pieces & parts put together – the parts and instructions were really laid out well; however, when we went to actually put the plastic sides of the shed up, that was a whole other story. We got the sides up & secured everything the way the directions showed/laid out. We stopped for the night after all the metal pieces, screws & rods, which were supposed to stand as a reinforcement to the walls, were attached to the upright borders correctly, but the next morning the plastic shed parts that were still up were all wilted! Bent in & out from the sun. About a quarter of the siding had fallen down (with the metal reinforcements still attached!) & the rest of the shed that is still standing (the plastic) is completely bent up. I highly doubt we’ll even be able to get the walls that fell back into place now that it’s been put together with all the reinforced metal, much less attach the roof. So, this is great, the delivery was awful, the actual product is a bust, and here I’ll be making payments to Amazon for a shed that we’ll never be able to use… and I’m back to square one looking for a new shed. This time, I’ll take everyone’s advice “Don’t ever buy a shed kit from Amazon.” I wish I’d listened! ... show more

  • NEED 3 to 4 Days to put it together where 1 day would have been sufficient.
Style: Dual Entry Shed
The Actual Product is Great for Longevity. The Engineers that designed some of the the Assembly Hardware Should be FIRED. The screws sizes are Confusing to say the Least. The Instruction Manual, Itemized list Specifications, such as What Item Connects to What Item are a TOTAL OR AT LEAST 75% Failure. The Video is at BEST 50% understood. My appraisal is, Great Product Horrible Assembly Instructions. ... show more

  • Solid Shed, But Building It Solo Is a Character Test
Style: Dual Entry Shed
This seems like it’s going to last a long time, and overall I’m very happy with it. Once it’s finally put together, it makes a solid storage shed and feels like a good long-term setup. I put it together by myself, and I do not recommend doing that unless you enjoy testing your patience for sport. The plastic panels can bend and warp in the hot sun, which definitely makes assembly harder than it needs to be. That said, even with the warping and the struggle during setup, it all does come together in the end. Once assembled, it looks good and feels sturdy. The build process may try to fight you a little, but the finished shed is worth it. ... show more
