Great little pot! My teenager uses 4x a week. Easy to use, convenient. Frees up stove space while making big meals or gives a easy option to make rice. The bowl rim does get really hot where you can touch it on outter part - so be careful. This is a great rice cooker. I live in a household with 2 adults and 2 children, and this is large enough to make more than enough for us for dinner. It would definitely not make enough in 1 batch for a crowd. There is sometimes very slight burning on the bottom if you don't stir it a couple of times during the cooking process. But overall, the rice comes out pretty perfect. I always rinse it before cooking. A steamer basket was not included, but I would not have used it anyway. I love the simplicity of plugging it in, pressing the button, and walking away (at least for a few minutes before returning for a stir).
