Do not purchase this equipment's. Fire Hazard!!! Fire Hazard!!!! I bout Themis package and was really excited about it. I got it and unboxed it and it looked pretty good if a little cheap feeling but decent. I hooked everything up inside snd scanned everything in their app and lastly before doing the install I made sure everything was working smoothly between the cameras and nvr, they made me think that was cordless too but it’s not. So continuing on, the first camera I went to set up on the house under the eave and got the camera mounted and sitting how I wanted and then I hooked up the solar panel. In about two seconds smoke starting coming off the bottom of the camera and I got in close to see where it might have been coming from and the camera burst into flames in a fire ball that gave me a sunburn instantly and made me fall off my latter. And when I picked myself up I saw the camera was still burning and melting. But the camera was right under the eave and I was worried about the house catching on fire because the flames were going up into the vent holes underneath behind the facia. And it was burning really good and I got back up on the ladder to get the flames away from the house the camera was dripping molten fallout all over and had caught a few other things on fire. I had barely touched it when the camera fell off the mount and as I thought I was in the green and all good. It was like fireworks and sparklers and I don’t know what exploded AGAIN right in my face. But this time there was a lot more “heat” and I was knocked off my ladder again and fell. When I was able to get up, my face was feeling like it was on fire and I had breathed something nasty tasting in when the sparks started that had me choking and fighting to catch my breath. Once I punched myself back up onto my feet I noticed I couldn’t see anything and was panicking and yelling until my friend found me and was able to see only after she washed out my eyes a lot with water and poured it over my head to alleviate the burning feeling on my skin as well. Paramedics came and chemical washed my eyes and face and advised that I go to the er and I had my friend take me where they said it was just going to take some time to let the flash burns heal in my eyes and face as well as my lungs from the burning lithium fumes. It was a horrible experience and companies shouldn’t allow such dangerous diy products to be sold. Pictures included

This is my second Hiseeu camera system. I upgraded from a 4-channel setup to a more robust 10-channel system, significantly expanding my coverage capabilities. The local storage has also been upgraded from 128GB to 1TB, which provides ample space for longer video retention. One of the key features I was looking for was a standalone monitor, and this system delivers. It also includes an HDMI cable, allowing you to connect it to a larger monitor or TV for enhanced viewing. The system is expandable—I was able to integrate my older cameras seamlessly, which added even more coverage. Personally, I prefer the PTZ camera for its compact size and use of a USB-C cable, as opposed to the larger fixed camera that uses a micro-USB connection. Customer service has been excellent, and the fact that there are no monthly fees makes this a great value. For a one-time cost, this system offers impressive performance and flexibility.

Cameras work okay. Quality is good but it is laggy in real time. If you want to bave it recording 24/7 every camera is an individual subscription. Had to add a wifi extender to get full reach to all cameras. Also had 2 bad cameras in first batch but luckily they replaced them all fast and efficiently. Could elbe a better product for the money

This review is long overdue. I purchased this set in feb 2024. (Jan2026) The performance was glitchy. In july we went in vacation and when we returned we found 2 of the cameras full of water and not working. We drained them and waited a couple of weeks to dry and hoped for the best. Nope. They no longer worked. The performance of the remaining two continued to be disappointing. St some point i have emailed the product support. Never received a response. The device goes disconnected often, the recording is a challenge to be accessed, it doesn’t record as per sensitivity settings, if it records something is only for about 30 seconds even if is a 15 minute event. Good luck finding a particular recording. I had car break in, property vandalism and an accident that we were not able to find a recording of them. I had people come to my house and no record of it. Access to the cameras via phone not working quite often. The wifi password had to be changed after work has been done for the service and the new wifi settings cannot be updated so what is left are only intermittent live views on the base screen. Definitely not worth the price paid (about $500 if i remember correctly) and still in need of cameras.

The camera system is exactly what I was looking for. It was really easy to mount and get working. Take your time and read the provided instructions. This system is so much better than my old ring cameras. **Note: You should not have to reset your camera to get it to connect to the hub. Set up the hub first. Bring each camera one at a time near the hub. In the hub, go to settings and add a camera. When it's searching for your cameras, power on one camera at a time until it connects. If it is having issues I recommend deleting all the cameras that are listed on the hub and do what I said again. Lastly, reset the camera if all else fails.
