Soooo, lot's of reviews about this cover.Some good, some not so good. Here's the skinny on this. I'm an elevator mechanic for a living so i'm well adapted in the garage and around tools. If you're into working on your own stuff, you won't have any issues assembling and installing it on your snowblower. It will however give you a run for your money if your not paying attention to the directions. I read a lot of complaints about the wrinkles in the clear plastic due to shipping. So before I did anything, I grabbed a large bath towel, got it wet and ringed it out, and then put the wife's ironing board and iron [carefully] to work. This actually did help quit a bit (and took quite a bit of time) I would recommend this. It didn't take out every little wrinkle, but it definitely helped with a lot of large creases. I was able to assemble the cab alone. After assembly, tried using a heat gun on low to remove some small wrinkles. If that helped any, I didn't notice. It took two of us to mount it to the Cub Cadet snowblower. Figuring out where you want it to mount and where it will be sitting is as tricky as it gets. It definitely pays to have another set of hands for this part as it is unwieldy. Once we got it all bolted up it seemed pretty sturdy. I think I will drill and through bolt the bracket where it clamps to the downtubes just to keep it from twisting/sliding during use as I can see that may become a problem. Remember, this is a universal cover. If you have a single headlight, this cover may work fine for you with it's zipper flap that allows the light to remain uncovered. It you have the newer duel LED light's like the Cub has, this won't work for you. Honestly, I'm just going to grab a large pair of shears and cut the cover where the lights go. Maybe duct tape or a few zip ties/bungie cords to hold it in place to the lights. If you don't do this, the light will reflect back into your face from the inside. Or just don't use your lights. We didn't find that the wrinkles obstructed our view as bad as some others stated. Let's face it, i'm not driving down the highway, it's just moving snow. By the way, it also has a little storage bag that hangs down from the inside bracket so you can stuff your hat or gloves in there. Pros: No more snow dust Keeps you out of the wind, dry, and a lot warmer Fit's most anything Good buy for the money Easy for the handy person to assemble It's universal Cons: Can be difficult to assemble for the "not so handy" You'll most likely need to do something to help get rid of wrinkles. You'll most likely have to do something for the headlights if putting on a newer model machine. It's universal

Have had it for 4 years and finally got the snowstorm to put it up. It's an absolute lifesaver. It is 10F windy with ice pellets coming down. I was so we'll protected inside that i didn't even need to wear my thick hat, goggles or face shield. I did my driveway and my neighbour's and didn't even get wet. It's totally amazing. Assembly was mostly straight forward. Only thing tricky was attaching the can to blower. Needed to really tighten the bolts so the weight doesn't cause it to rotate. Also the two set screws kept coming loose with vibration and needed to get tightened as well.

Overall this product is a good buy. It attached to a 24" craftsman snow blower without a problem. Pro: easy to assemble and install. Keeps the snow spray off. As a plus, it is a lot warmer within the enclosure then outside. I find myself sweating while pushing the blower. I would purchase and recommend this product. Con: Even though this is a long con, don't equate it as a bad product. Although easy to put together, the instructions could be better written, also the recommended wrench sizes on the box and instructions are wrong. A couple of the nut welds cracked- which in no way diminishes the operation of the cover and can easily be fix. As with other comments, the window has fold creases in it which limits some viewing, but does not limit it anymore then the enclosure itself- you give up a little visibility for the comfort. When the wind is blowing, it is a trade well made. I would like to see a quick-connect attachment mechanism. Right now the enclosure is attached to the blower via two brackets and eight bolts. This makes removal inconvenient. On nice sunny days when the wind isn't blowing it would be nice to remove the enclosure,

If you have reasonable expectations about what this cab is for and designed to do, you will be pleased. This "cab" is designed to keep your upper body/face from getting covered in blowing snow and it does just that. The blowing and drifting snow that would normally be getting on YOU gets on the enclosure instead, just like it was designed to do. It WILL need to be cleaned off for visibility occasionally, either by tapping it from the inside or wiping the outside off for a clear view. It IS an enclosure around you, so you need to be aware of branches and various height clearances. This cab MAY obstruct lighting on some snow blower designs with 2 headlights that are side by side. There is a zipper flap to expose single/center mounted headlights and would probably work well with that design. Been through 3 storms thus far, solid piece that does the job... I would recommend it.

Wish I could leave a no star review but it won't allot that. All screw type fasteners need some loctite or they will vibrate out. The canvas hood is made with thin, clear "windshield" plastic. This is absolutely not New England cold weather rated. While trying to wipe the snow off the windshield, it broke, cracked or whatever you want to call it. I have a giant slice in mine now. I got TWO USES out of this.. Not much functionality with a slice in the windshield. There is zero value in this product.

I'm not sure why, but when it snows where I live it is always windy and the snow gets blown right back into my face when I'm clearing my driveway. This cover worked great for my cub cadet 3X snow blower. Assembly wasn't difficult, but I highly recommend finding the video online and watching them assemble it because when you have to find the tabs on the inside of this thing they're damn near impossible to find unless you're watching the video. But, this thing kept the snow from blowing back in my face and I love it.
