We have now had these bar stools at our kitchen counter for 2 years and 8 months. Until recently they have been great chairs and the usage is fairly heavy as one or the other is used and sat in approximately 275 days a year and normally for several hours at a time. Unfortunately at the front seat edge of both stools the material is now splitting and starting to break apart. The warranty on these chairs is only for one year and when I called the company I was told they only sell the entire chair and not the seat separately. Our last bar stools, a different brand, with the same usage lasted 7 plus years. After paying a much higher price than currently shown on Amazon, 36% more, I had expected better. I will not look at this brand of product when replacing the chairs. ... show more

Despite usually wanting to buy American and pay for quality, we figured these inexpensive stools would only get occasional use and be more form than function. They do look nice and if I were able to inspect them at a local store in person I wouldn't have made the purchase. One was delivered with damage. I can't say if it occurred during shipping as the box it was packaged in looked fine. The caps for the screws that were pre-assembled are much too small; you can see in the picture that it has sunk in the hole. I imagine after some use that's going to loosen. Eventually I may need to add washers to all those cap screws. Installation was easy, I'm hoping they'll hold up to the light use we expect out of them. ... show more

Great counter height chairs (26” seat height). Excellent price. Good quality and easy to put together. They are comfortable too, as we sit at the counter almost every evening for dinner. Love the gray color. While not real wood, they still look really nice.

So i first ordered these chairs in May 2019 and they were great, so I decided to order 2 more from the same company. Just received them today and there are these plastic notches in the back!!!! i thought maybe i ordered the wrong thing so i looked back on Amazon and on all the pictures it doesn't have these plastic notches. Makes the chair look cheap. They probably used a different manufacturer and they screwed holes in the back seat. TERRIBLE!!! First picture are the chairs I ordered in May on the left and the two chairs on the right I received today. I circled the two plastic notches on the chairs i received today that are on the back of the chair likely to cover screws. ... show more

We wanted 3 of these for our kitchen counter ... and we like the design/style of the units. But - three arrived and only one was in good / brand new condition.... the other 2 had scuffs and dinks in the legs. We returned them. A replacement turned up in a tatty open box - and thankfully we caught the deliver man before he left - we check the stool inside and it was damaged so we didn't accept delivery..... another stool came a couple days later and (you already guessed) it has dents in the leg and is damaged. We ordered and received 3 bar stools because we were to use them on our kitchen island when construction was finished. We actually began using them February 1st, 2020. Now the back of one of the stools has pulled away from the wood. We want to return the defective one but find the window for returning is pasted. We like the stools very much but we need to know what to do before we try to repair it. Right now we are most disturbed that we can not RETURN. At this point, we are not 100% satisfied with this product. ... show more

I love these, just received 2 of 4. I wasn't looking forward to assembly, but it took no more than 10 min. to unpack and assemble 2 stools, easiest assembly ever, just have to put the 4 screws that attach seat to base and walla! They are well constructed and look very modern. granted they aren't real leather, color, but if cost is an issue, the style is very comparable to leather, that in some" Modern Stool sites" charge up-to four times as much per stool. We just purchased a sofa from macy's, fine leather, same charcoal and visually, the faux leather on these look and feel the same. And don't be mistaken, faux leather does last through time. Our new sofas replaced our older faux leather couch and love seat, that lasted over 18 years, and we have four french bulldogs and a very old boston terrior that just doesn't want to let go:), both sofa and love seat, not a single tear, a little faded on buttocks area, but still amazing. also, if fading occurs (after a long time) I purchased a leather balm that I used on older couch/loveseat, with a brown tint, and they looked new again, I did that about 7 years ago.
