The drive itself seems to be working great, and I’m glad to have quadrupled the storage space on my old MacBook Pro. Installing the drive was straightforward. That said, the company claims that High Sierra is preinstalled on their drive, but the drive I received was completely empty. The m.2 2242 size is somewhat of a niche size in the SSD world. Not a lot of folks are doing DIY projects with these...but, I am. And this little gem has really fit the bill nicely. Inexpensive... just the right amount of storage for my project (a Debian-based Pi-hole with extra features), an Asus Chromebox converted to be more than it was ever intended. Sure, this is a rebranded Dogfish SSD... but, it works fine. It even came with TWO SSD securing screws! I'm always chasing those during things...they hop around like fleas. Bought a pack of 5 for running my RPI. Out of the box, one disk was already unrecognized by any system (Windows, Linux, ...) After a few days of running, 3 disks were not working anymore and completely useless. After a few weeks, only 1 disk is still functional (have not used it to run any OS yet) but due to the quality, I will not use it. I have been using Kingston for years and never had any issue but they don't sell 64G anymore. So will use the 128G. Conclusion : Stay away from those cheap SSD. ... show more

I bought this product after trying different brand first, not knowing that the slot itself is different size. I'm using this in GEEKOM MI13, along side the original 1TB SSD and an addition 1TB SATA SSD. The other brand drive was just 1mm too large. After further research, I found others who bought same GEEKOM PCs recommended this brand as it has perfect fit. What I didn't like: This manufacturer provided screws I believe was meant to hold down the card, however the screw it came with was so tiny, it isn't going to hold anything. I manage to find spare one to use, but the manufacturer should think about what they put in box. ... show more
