I have these bar stools under a shallow bar, but they tuck under quite well. Assembly was a bit of a headache, Ikea like instructions with 3 different screws that were only a fraction different lengths (and I'm a wizard when it comes to allen wrench assembly). I didn't want the chrome finish on the bottom hoop (don't worry...it's nice and shiny), so I simply spray painted them gold and let dry well before putting them together. ... show more

It looks good but if you get close you can see the imperfections of the material. I understand the wood or imitation wood have uneven textures and colors but, the back has scratches and cracks together with wears. The legs are uneven and it is impossible to align them to stop the wobble.

The 26โ€ is perfect for the counter. We had to return the 30โ€ which were too high. I believe 24โ€ would be a bit short. Good looking, very comfortable, and perfect height, good back support.
