Box works, be kind to it, it bends really easy, very thin sidewalls which makes the latch not work, easily fixable just pull/push in/out a bit and you’ll get it to shut! - Another star due to it has no seal in the lid which I’m planning on putting one in it, rain/water hasn’t been an issue, but dust is definitely an issue, for the money it will work fine, see what happens when winter comes! ... show more

This box is of better quality than I expected, especially for the price. It arrived in perfect condition. The welds all look good, and the lid works well. The lock seems decent. It is not a high security box. I am sure it could be pried open with a decent sized pry bar. I mounted it on the front of my aluminum trailer. I just needed a box big enough for a jack, lug wrench, and tie down straps. This is plenty big enough for my needs. I did run a bead of silicone around the handles on the inside. And I plan to pick up some weatherstripping to put on the top of the box, or maybe on the underside of the lid. I am quite satisfied overall. ... show more

The stupid lock. 99.99999% of the time I don't need or want to lock the box. Not being able to secure the lid w/o locking it is, well, male bovine excrement. Now that I've read the reviews better I'll be replacing the hasp as others have. There is no weather stripping under the lid or any sort of lid support. I'll be adding the weather strips and don't really care about the support because it's on a flat bed trailer and I can flop the lid back. Might be some applications where it can be annoying having the lid not staying up. Other than that, it's perfect. Fits on the tongue of my aluminum trailer and easily holds the tie downs and ratchet straps. Was very surprised how well it was packaged with metal corner protectors. ... show more
