It's just off center enough to drive you mad every time you walk past it, I actually find myself needing to remind myself not to try to move the damn thing because it won't budge after installed. It is nice, do not get me wrong, it's so much better than having nothing there, it's a very nice accent to the thermostat itself, but I have tried everything short of taking it to a machinist to have it fixed. ... show more

The wall plate holes did not line up with the actual Next mounting holes. I had to drill my own holes into the plate in order to mount the nest so it would appear symmetrical. Wasn't anything hard to do, just an extra step
