Mountain snowblower arrived in a crate completely assembled but would not start. Added fresh gas but the battery was completely dead ( 0.0v ). The pull start would only turn the engine over. Tried jumping off of another fresh battery, and while the engine would turn over with good speed, it would not start. It is now at an authorized dealership for warranty work, to find out what is wrong with it. I was told that in addition to the battery being completely dead, that either the computer, the fuel injection, and/or the fuel pump are likely not working. ... show more

This Ariens SnoThrower is a beast. I have an older version of this Ariens that is also a beast but the difference is modernizations. It has self start, battery. It has power chute direction switch. I never knew i needed self start or the power chute but after only using it for a couple of snow storms, I wouldn’t be without them. If you can afford this, it’s well worth the money. I believe the “tool” should do the heavy lifting and Ariens delivers. I would buy this again and again. I couldn’t be happier ... show more
