Compact espresso machine with serious features

I’ve always liked having the option to make coffee at home without having a giant machine taking over the counter, so the compact design of this one immediately caught my attention. The footprint is only about 5.2 inches wide, which makes a huge difference if you’re working with limited counter space. It has a 20 bar pressure system and a 1300W boiler, along with PID temperature control and dual NTC sensors designed to keep brewing and steaming temperatures stable. The pre infusion feature is another thing I really like because it gradually increases the pressure before extraction instead of immediately hitting the coffee with full pressure. There is also a dedicated Americano button, which is something you don’t always see on compact espresso machines. It can make up to a 350ml cup, while the espresso modes handle single and double shots automatically. The steam wand is designed to produce microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos, so you can do more than just espresso. I also like the stainless steel body because it gives the machine a much more substantial feel and should be easier to keep clean. The removable 41oz water tank, one and two cup filters, portafilter and tamper are all included, so you have what you need to get started. Super easy to use. The noise level is just regular. Like most espresso machines. The combination of the compact footprint, 20 bar system, temperature control and Americano mode gives you a lot of functionality without needing a huge countertop appliance. The build quality feels good and for a compact machine with this many features, it is a great value for the money.

A Christmas Present We’re Really Excited to Give

We picked this espresso machine up as a Christmas present for our oldest daughter and her partner, and I think this is going to be one of those gifts that gets a pretty enthusiastic reaction when they open it. Obviously, since Christmas hasn’t happened yet, I can’t speak to months of daily use or long-term durability, but I can review what we received and our impressions of it as a gift. First and foremost, it presents really well. This looks and feels like a legitimate countertop espresso machine rather than a novelty coffee gadget, which was important to us. It has the kind of modern appearance that should fit nicely into a kitchen without taking over the whole counter, and the combination of the touchscreen controls, milk frother, and espresso-making capability gives them plenty to play with. I also like that this isn't something that locks them into just one type of coffee. Between espresso and the frothing capability, there are quite a few different drinks they should be able to make depending on what they like. That versatility is part of what made this appealing as a Christmas gift rather than simply buying another standard coffee maker. Since this is a gift, I'm deliberately not pretending we've been making lattes with it for the past month. We'll leave the actual breaking-in to them. Based on what we've seen so far, though, we're very happy with what we received. For someone looking for a substantial gift for a coffee or espresso drinker, this makes a much bigger impression than another bag of coffee or collection of mugs. I'm excited to see what they think when they open it.

Compact, Easy to Use, and Surprisingly Capable
This is a really nice little espresso machine, especially if you want something that feels more advanced than a basic pod machine but does not take over half the kitchen counter. The first thing I like is the size. At only a little over 5 inches wide, it fits into spaces where a lot of espresso machines simply will not. Despite that small footprint, it still gives you the features I actually want, including single and double shots, an Americano mode, a steam wand, and a removable water tank. The touchscreen controls make it very easy to use. I am not trying to memorize a bunch of button combinations first thing in the morning, so having clearly defined options for the different drinks is appreciated. I also like that it includes pre-infusion and PID temperature control. Those are features I normally associate with more serious espresso machines, and they help make the brewing process feel more consistent instead of just blasting hot water through the coffee and hoping for the best. The steam wand is another strong point. It gives you enough control to make lattes and cappuccinos without needing a separate milk frother sitting next to the machine. There is definitely some technique involved if you want really good microfoam, but that is part of using a traditional steam wand. The dedicated Americano button is a feature I did not expect to appreciate as much as I do. Sometimes I want espresso, and sometimes I just want a larger cup without pulling a shot and then manually adding hot water. Having a one-touch option makes that much more convenient. The stainless finish also looks nice and gives the machine a more premium appearance than a lot of compact plastic models. Overall: This is a very well-rounded espresso machine for its size. It is compact, easy to operate, has enough control to make the brewing process feel legitimate, and includes useful extras like pre-infusion, temperature management, Americano mode, and a proper steam wand. If you want to make espresso drinks at home without dedicating an entire section of the counter to coffee equipment, this is a really appealing setup.

Great Espresso Machine for Home I’m really impressed with this espresso machine! It has a sleek stainless steel design and a compact size that fits nicely on the counter without taking up too much space. The touchscreen is easy to use and gives the machine a modern feel. The 20-bar pressure and PID temperature control provide a nice setup for making espresso at home, and I really like having the pre-infusion feature and Americano mode. The 41oz water tank is also convenient because I can make multiple drinks without constantly having to refill it. Compact espresso machine that pulls a decent weekday shot
This machine is sized for a kitchen that cannot hide a large café setup. Heat-up is reasonable in the morning and the shot has more body than a typical pod. Steam function is basic but enough for a small milk drink. Cleanup of the portafilter and drip tray is straightforward. It will not replace a prosumer machine, but for daily espresso at home it is capable and compact.
