Took about 20 min to set up. The poles are weak and hard to get setup as they have to keep being moved as the cover blows around. The corner ripped in the first hour. Neat concept but not the best design

Overall I would say that this a great beach canopy. It is much easier to move around than the pop up kind, and also does not catch the wind as much. I originally purchased it for a beach trip, however the first time I was able to use it was in the grass. It was definitely easy to set up in the grass, and I think it will be even easier to set up in the sand. The first step is to lay the canopy out to mark the corners. Then you screw the white corner posts into the ground. The poles go together easily, and are like a tent pole to keep them together when not in use. The bags for sand likely work better than tying the bags to a stake in the ground. The canopy is also hand that you can create a lean-to shelter by only using 2 poles. This is great for the beach so you can ensure your entire body is out of the sun. The canopy kit even comes with a small scoop and 2 extra sandbag cords for when you need extra stability. This is definitely a great addition to our beach setup, and I look forward to using it more in the future.

Vibrant Red looks great when set up. Lots of staking options (multiple ground/sand spikes). I'm using mine as a small camper awning--one side roped/attached to the camper- the other end with two poles. The poles were on a cement pad, and I tied them to the ground stakes--help up to moderate winds all weekend--with only minor adjustments. The stretchy material is a good thickness--not thin and flimsy.
