For those who look at those lighting charts as a buying factor, keep in mind they are done in a mylar box to ensure light reflection. My photo was done 11in. off my kitchen floor. I was still pulling 1184 PPFD. Installed in my 4 x 4 tent, and at 12in. above my canopy, I have it dialed in at 1050 PPFD while only using 90% of the power. For those you use light meters to set up your grow room, you will appreciate knowing this. This light runs cooler than my previous lights, so kudos to that factor. The mobile app. to adjust lighting is a great way to dial in your grow space while keeping it enclosed and without light leakage. I've been watching the price come down on these lights and finally had to buy one. I hesitated due to some bad reviews here. Fortunately, my FC3000 arrived quickly and (after a day in the tent) is working great. I'm using this in a little 27" square by 62" tall tent. I have a par meter and I am getting very consistent par values throughout and there is enough power that I can flower medicinals at around 75% power at the recommended height. So more than enough power. (Wear eye protection!) I thought this was supposed to have a Meanwell driver but it's a Mars Hydro-branded one made by LG-LED Solutions Limited. It has impressive heat sync fins and can be mounted on the light or outside the tent with very long wires. The dimmer works great. It's pulling 290w out of the box at full power which is fine with me since it's easily capable of providing way too much light in my space. No tweaking was required. As long as this light and driver prove to be reliable it's a fantastic value! Very sturdy pre-assembled light so you have fewer exposed wires and plugs than some other brands. Hang it, plug it in, and grow! Update, several months running this light with no problems and excellent results! Update 2, after a year it's going strong and the plants love it. ... show more

I upgrade from the lower end mars hydro so that I could grow spices in a more uniform area. The light is awesome and to be honest I'm really glad I bought it. I did try out the application and it just wouldn't send the initial authentication. After that I was satisfied to just have a good light.

I mean what can I say? This is exactly what I was looking for. This is more than enough for a 3x3 tent. It's actually a little more than most need. I have to keep mine 24 in or above.(Veg) When on 100%. But that's exactly why I bought this light because I wanted better coverage around the perimeter and this is definitely going to provide it. I can tell already after 3 days. This is definitely a commercial grade light. At least to me at a steel of a price. It came highly recommended and I highly recommend it. So update only a few weeks to harvest, this lights great, I am adding 1200-1300ppm c02 in a 3x3 AC Infinity tent, so I am running it @ about 16in @ 100% and it's measuring 72,000-73,000 lux at the very top bud site. If your looking into growing, and you're trying to do it right once like I was. Don't waste your time, just buy this light. Even if for some reason you can't afford it at the moment, wait until you can. Because the performance the price is great. Haven't had any issues and if I do I'll be sure to update. But I am extremely happy with the purchase. I mean let's call it what it is. It's a commercial grow light and it performs like one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am having a issue with this light when i turn it off it will flicker on and off i noticed the cord from the dimmer box to the power drive made it do this tried a few things to try to fix the issue but nothing seems to work hopefully i can have it fixed without any issues Update ... Amazon has sent a replacement as i did not have the new light for over 30 days the new one seems to be working as is supposed to mars and amazon handled the situation quick and i was happy with the response time i will update in the furture if any other problems arise ... show more
