    • Cannot beat this inexpensive pickleball set
My wife and I purchased this pickleball set when we were traveling to visit relatives in another state. Rather than packing/carrying our existing paddles on our carry on bags, taking up valuable clothing space, we decided to simply purchase this set and have it delivered to our relatives instead. We were expecting to see some really subpar construction or materials but were pleasantly surprised. Are they paddles you'd want to use in a tournament, probably not, but for recreational use by beginners these paddles are fantastic. We used them for probably a total of 8-15 hours of play during our trip and they still look new. Since we weren't worried in the least if our relatives broke the paddles it made the whole experience more fun for them as well since they were just learning the sport. If you're a beginner and don't want to spend $50/paddle, these are definitely something you should give a closer look. We'd recommend them for sure based on our experience. ... show more

Great starter kit for my family. We enjoy tennis and wanted to try pickleball, since it’s all the rage. Cheap, fun, and feels great in your hand. Comes with balls and everything you need to start playing.

    • It’s a… set?
It’s a good starter set for friends and family, but by no means should you use it outside of simple recreational play. There’s no grit on the paddles and the board is too hard you can barely control your hits. The grip feels a bit weird or loose when playing as well. The balls are also firmer than normal and coating slightly different than other brands which makes me use other balls when i have the option to. Don’t get me wrong, it’s again a great starter set, especially for the price but if you get into the sport, invest in something a bit better or at least something with a bit of grit to it. They do look very pretty though! ... show more

Paddles are super cute and light weight. Not sure what the point of the green and blue wraps are? maybe to replace the handle wrap when it wears out? Overall great beginner paddles and great value for 4 of them

If you're looking to join the sports craze that is sweeping the nation, this set is a great place to start. 4 rackets for that price is a great deal. The rackets themselves are good quality. We've been using them frequently and they still look and play great. The extra tape is a nice add-on, but our games aren't 'core enough to be ripping up grip, so I don't see myself re-taping for a while. It's great to get the balls as well. I'm not sure what the color difference means, if anything...I heard indoor/outdoor maybe? I haven't played indoors yet. The carry case is great and everything fits back in well at the end of a long Pickle Sess. Enjoy! ... show more
