I got this set today and it is beautiful and came packaged really wonderfully very well packaged. I was surprised that the smaller bowl did not have the same design as all of the other pieces in the set. It had the color on the outside and the beige color on the inside. Makes zero sense to me. I was not too happy about that, but it is how it shows it in the photo. If I had known that, I definitely would not have ordered. I just don’t understand why three pieces look one way and one piece it’s opposite. I feel like it’s a flaw in this place setting and I don’t understand why anyone would do that. I do not plan on using any of the small bowls so it won’t be that big of a deal but it was pretty surprising.

So I ordered this set as it had great reviews and it came with salad/pasta bowls. One of the salad/pasta bowls came with a nice big chip in it. So I contacted the company via email. Their response although in German was quick. Lucky our phones now translate languages easily. I sent my order and picture of the broken bowl. And they just asked for my order number and I gave it to them. They asked if I wanted 15% off my order or a replacement. Silly me I assumed they just meant replacing the “one” bowl. So I said I really wanted just the one bowl replaced. They agreed, they were super nice and easy to work with and today I got my “one” replacement bowl with a whole 16 piece set. So now when my other dishes break because we all know stoneware always breaks I have enough dishes to replace half my dishes if they break. Now we’re to store them? I really only wanted the “one” bowl. Onto the dishes themself. They look way less gold in person, thank the heavens! I’m a simple woman and this was one of the few sets that came in brown. All I wanted were some simple brown dishes. And this and some really metallic shinny ones were my options. So I picked these. I like the rims of the plates so when the grandkids come and eat the food doesn’t come off their plate. We all know with kids that’s a problem. Then they came with salad/pasta bowls. That made me very happy. No I won’t used them for salad or pasta but they are nice sized shaped bowls. I mostly use them to eat leftovers in. They work beautifully. So far I have had them about a week and they are easy to wash (that shinny coat has a purpose). They hold up In the microwave well (I already said I eat leftovers). I don’t use a dishwasher, (you know that thing that never gets the dishes clean so you have to hand wash them anyway) so I can’t say they hold up well in the dishwasher or not. I like the dishes and since I have a whole other 16 piece set they will Probably last past 5 years (well if I’m nice to them). So ya I would buy these again in a heart beat. Now can you just have some simpler colors like plain brown you know the color of hot chocolate for the simple folk your selling to. Maybe take that slick easy to clean finish and make it so its not blinding me when the sun is out. More like a satin finish you know so they still clean easy. Thanks again

Other than that plates are great.I had the plates for a couple of months.one has broken but that was owner error.They also hold up well to dishwasher and microwave. The dishes get really hot so use mittens or something to remove plate from microwave

The dinnerware is sleek in design, with a nice raised edge on the flat plates to keep food fron slipping off. Washes nicely, too.
