This heat pump is fantastic! I bought to replace the one I had that went bad from another manufacturer and too costly to repair. This was cheaper than repairing the old one. It came in 2 days via Prime with free shipping. While the heater is heavy, it was a very simple install. It comes with a clear to read manual and three different connection types to choose from. It also has a drain port for winterizing which will be super quick and easy come the Fall. What is amazing is how quick it heated up my pool in just 24 hours. After I got it started the water was 64 degrees. 24 hours later...79!! That is incredible. The unit has a COP of 15.2 which is super high. So I can heat the pool quicker and cheaper. It has a very nice crisp touch screen display on the unit and also has a easy app to set temps and such from anywhere. Highly recommend this heat pump! ... show more

Update: 4/15/2025 - Customer support has been extremely helpful, I must’ve misread somewhere that a power cable was included and they sent one as soon as I asked about it. Heater works as intended. I have a 12’x24’x48” half buried pool and when the ambient temp is above 60 here it rises about 1-2 degrees a hour. No power supply, still waiting on the seller to contact me and hopefully get a power supply soon. Otherwise unit looks good. Will update review as soon as I have it running. ... show more

Had a few issues with installation since I've never installed one of these before, customer support was excellent and helped me get this working correctly. Would definitely recommend one to others due to the easy installation. The app integrates with my existing smart home items. This does come with a 3 year warranty so if manufacturer keeps up the great support I fully trust it to keep working ... show more

Does not come with hose to run. Don’t expect to use this right away unless you order a hose separately. Very disappointed. No place nearby to get one so I guess I have to order one and wait some more… ruins weekend plans. Can’t really review performance yet so one star

Works better than expected, 65⁰ outside and 85⁰ in the pool. Extending our summer by several months. I recommend getting a water flow meter and 3way watet diverter, so you can set the water flow and get the best results from your heater. The part that you have to brace yourself for is getting out of the pool. Have plenty of towels standing by. ... show more

    • Absolute Tank of a Heater!
Make way folks... Aquastrong is known for its great pump products but here they go with an absolute tank of a pool heater. In true Aquastrong fashion, this heater comes with clear and concise directions, plumbing adapters and was very well packaged in a makeshift type crate, zero damage which is impressive considering the size and relative fragility of this product. We had to run a separate 20amp 120v line to be able to run this without tripping the breaker on our existing 20amp pump circuit. Power cable was not included so I picked up a GFCI pigtail on Amazon of all places... Hookup was very straight forward, be sure to follow your local electric codes for grounding etc... grounding wire, grounding rods can be purchased here on Amazon too... Install took about 30 minutes to complete, including re-routing plumbing, etc. Performance has been stellar, I moved up from a 16,000 BTU electric unit to this one and what a huge difference, heats up in less than 1/2 the time which means that I don't have to run my pump 24/7 to keep our pool swimmable this time of year. Longevity is yet to be determined but I wanted to share my initial impressions of this product, so far so good! Running an AVG of 4-5 hours a day keeping the pool at 82 degrees with a solar cover, 5000gal AG pool. Nighttime temps dropping down into the low 50s, daytime temps in the mid to high 70s. ... show more
