  • Amazing lights!!
Size: 140 W
I absolutely love these lights! They are an amazing value for the coverage they have, the power and penetration they offer, the responsiveness both from the led touch screen and the remote controller, the heat dissipation, the customization options the style and everything else! I mean honestly for 200 bucks these things are better than lights that cost 1000!! I’m grateful and happy that these exist! Shout out smatfarm 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 these are my settings also, for a mixed reef tank and they are working great if you would like to copy! • Very nice LEDs horrible configuration
Size: 140 W
You really can’t pass on these lights with the LED quality versus price. Their excellent they look really great. I have one on my sump the 95 W version and the 140 on the main display. Now here’s the problem…. Without having a British Mensa IQ test passed I’m not sure how you’re supposed to program this without scratching your head several times. The instructions are probably worse to read than actually just trying to figure it out. ... show more

  • Budget Friendly, SPS Capable
Size: 140 W
I've been using this light since April '24. I have it over a 26g all-in-one (24" length) and it may be overkill, but it's perfect for what I have planned for this system. The quality of the build seems good. I have actually had the stem of the mounting arm submerged into the rear chamber for a month before I raised the lights up and I didn't notice any corrosion other than the black fading, but not rusting. The settings may be difficult at first try, but after messing with it for an hour or so, I was able to get it how I wanted it set up. I like that you can set the sunrise and moonlight time lengths, but dislike that you can't set the individual intensity for those. For example, I wanted to run blue spectrum for sunrise mode and then full spectrum until moonlights, but I can't because 10 minutes into sunrise, the full spectrum starts ramping up. It's not a deal breaker though, because I wanted these lights a) because it's budget friendly and b) it produces a lot of par and has a decent visual appeal. I wouldn't recommend it for a tank smaller than a 24" length tank because you'd have a lot of light spill on the sides. It's also pretty heavy so if your tank is 1/2" thickness or smaller you would want to hang it on a different mount point. I have SPS like acropora, cyphastrea, montipora encrusting and growing well with these lights. Tank dimensions: 23.6Wx17.7Dx15.8H Light mounted 12" above tank. First photo is on moonlights with an orange filter last week. Last photo is with full spectrum from a month ago with a different aquascape. ... show more

  • High cost, low dependability, lack of customer support.
Size: 140 W
Got them set up and was very happy with the lights, however after 24 hours of use they are setting their own schedule times ad ten not even following it. The moon light never turns off. And now the sunlight program it just doing moonlight. Moonlight setting are all turned to 0% light and still just moonlighting away. I have yet to get a response from customer service. $600 on lights and didn't get more than 24 hours of use. Ive tried all 3 as the master and same problem. All settings are correct and it did work perfect for a day so...... I believe I will be returning these. ... show more

Size: 140 W
This light is amazing. Sick and tired of apps, WIFI connections, those BS Propriety cords. Have to be connected to change settings. This and Kessel are my favorite lights now.

  • You get what you pay for
Size: 140 W
They are far better than the cheap flat LED lights that come with low end aquariums--their build quality is in the neighborhood of the high end lights you would buy on Saltwateraquarium.com or Bulk Reef Supply. Heavy aluminum, well-machined, and powerful LEDs that penetrate my 30" tank no problem. But, the fans are quite loud and they stay on constantly unless you are using the lights at lower power. The company states they respond to support emails within 24 hours but they don't respond at all (at least they didn't to me). Another "you get what you pay for" aspect is there is no app--it's a circa 2010 interface with arcane button pushes to navigate a two line screen. Usable but tedious. Also, it's designed such that you pick separately one of six lighting schemes and the settings for those which makes it easy for them to get out of sync and you end up running a different scheme than what you set settings for. The master/slave feature works quite well if you are using multiple lights. The sunrise/sunset function is another feature that suffers compared to higher end lights: It's not a smooth transition over the set period--it will drop to about 75% power and pretty much sit there until the end of the period when the light snaps off (in sunset mode). One final beef is the moonlight. It's SUPER bright (and I have a 327 gallon, 30" deep tank). I took it down to 1% on just one of the blue channels on just one of the lights (I have three) and it was still too bright. So...three stars because while it's cheaper than the high end lights and can produce light on par (no pun intended) with them, it has some frustrating aspects...but you get what you pay for. ... show more
