The pump is set to it's lowest setting, but still is too powerful for three of the tanks. Simple adjustment to the air valves took care of that. It has been running 24/7 flawlessly! I use it to aerate a minnow bait container that I use for fishing. My previous aerators would die and so would my minnows! The bait container is in my shed, so it gets both hot and cold, and it keeps on running.

My air pump has been running trouble free for almost one year now. It is supplying air to five different tanks. I noticed in the last month or so I have been increasing the air control to full to get my desired air flow. Silly me, thinking that the pump was on the way out, I started to look on Amazon for a replacement. Then I got this crazy idea that maybe the air intake was getting clogged. Well look what I found! There is a small removable cover that houses an air filter. I made a new filter out of poly fill and now the control adjuster is set at half with bookoo air flow.

Update the vendor gave me some options to fix my issue. This pump is good and I may have gotten a bad pump. But it does move a lot of air and provides enough items to build a small system with enough house to use with a 55 gal. The pump can move a lot of air but damn is it loud and heats up. If put this in a cabinet and the area heated up and made more noise.

I love the fact that this pump has 4 air stones that I placed in 4 spots within my 80 gallon tank. It gives plenty of air to the fish and doesn't give off a lot of noise. I thought, for the size of the tank, that I would have to run the pump full open but after looking at the tank I turned the air halfway down and it was perfect.

The media could not be loaded. Instead of using the filter al the time I ordered this to provide oxygen and movement for my Oranda goldfish. It’s used outside and it has held up through falll and a harsh winter! My fish love it. No regrets here!

When its on you can barley tell, the most subtle vibration it gives off isnt even noticable. Other than the the air speed is great for my 30 gallon tank
