    • Very effective algaecide.
I've been using this since January of this year (2022) and it has worked perfectly. Although I didn't have green pool water, I did have problems with algae forming on the walls and on the hose of my pool cleaner (Kreepy Krauly). Even with the pool cleaner I had to brush the walls and clean the hose frequently due to the algae problem. I started adding Aqua Clear per the instructions for a 20,000 gal pool and continued to maintain pH and chlorine concentrations, and had immediate results. Very happy. ... show more

OMG!!! Did I actually find something at a decent price that knocks the algae out of the pool!?!?!? Appreciate the other reviews that had me finally try this... best yet in dealing with a pool that is getting near needing a partial water change out - it knocked out the green/yellow algae...     • It works
I tried this product for the first time by starting using 8 oz in a 10K gallon pool... I had a little bit of green algae, just a little, but it got rid of it... The bottle says to use 1.5 oz every week after the initial application, so I'll try that... The only issue is that it is a copper based product, and I'm worried about the mineral content of the pool accumulating... the hardness going up.... There are other non- copper based products but they seem to be more expensive... ... show more
