The colors are just like the picture. Silky on 1 side and dull on the other. Its a bit stiff for ribbon without metal. Can be pinched and creased without heat or much effort. That's good unless you don't want fold lines. Its not wide at all about 1cm wide or 1/2 inch. Still works good for crafts like making hair bows for my daughter. Bowties for her stuffed animals. Hem and seam lines on the clothes I make for her and her dolls. All and all not a bad product just wish it was softer and silky or dull on both sides. But guess its more versatable that way. I use ribbons for a variety of crafts, and these are a great quality and value. I like sales at Hobby Lobby for things like this, but with very little free time, this is a perfect choice. The colors are nicer than the picture shows.

Nice reasonable quality ribbon, in a good variety of (non-Christmas) colors. I wish it were available in a wider format -- say 3/4". Be that as it may, the narrow width is compensated for by the fact that these ribbons are actually wrapped on cardboard spools, and not just a Styrofoam core, or bundled into a plastic bag, like so many others. These can actually be put on a spindle in a ribbon dispenser. ... show more

They are fine but have a weird stuff feel. Not very soft or fabric like, and a bit stiff. They were fine for the craft I needed but i wouldn’t suggest sewing with them.
