First of all, if you have never used a standard, dome style softbox before this thing is massive. Far larger than what I initially expected so if you're shooting in a small space you may find it extremely difficult to place or hide your light source with thing softbox attached to it. It's also a bit of a pain to setup as it used a series of metal rods that all need to be manually inserted into the Bowen-S mount each time you assemble the softbox. Also, attaching the softbox to your light is very difficult if you already have the light mounted on a stand. There is no issue with the Bowen-S adapter, it's just the massive size of the softbox makes it hard to handle. But other than that the light this softbox produces is extremely beautiful. If you never have to disassemble it for travel than you'll be extremely happy using this attachment in your studio setups. You'll find the light to be soft, large, and color accurate. Here's to hoping they come out with a version 2 (not a "mini" version) that's far easier to assemble.

Used is with a Aputure Light Storm LS C120d and a Godox SL-60W. Very disappointed. Assembly wasn't too difficult but not easy enough to break down and reassemble for mobile shooting. The inner baffle diffuser is way too small to defuse the light evenly, leaving a ring of light coming from the front. I wonder what they were thinking with this design? The unusual depth of the unit seems cool at first, but really it makes the light less efficient, and more directional. Somewhat like the way a flush light works in the home; with the majority of the light bouncing around inside the dome. There are other diffusion boxes, domes frome PhotoSEL and Godox which have less depth yet a more even second diffuser baffle at less than half the price. I've seen others online reviewing this item very favorably. I don't understand this when there are far better options out there.

Works well, but it can be tricky to assemble and takes some time to set up. If I was going to do it again I would have waited for the Mark II version or just bought a Neewer Bowens Mount soft box for half the price. Also the diffusion Velcro already ripped so I wasn’t impressed by that.

I got almost the exact same thing from another company for 48.00 and it is stellar....Parabolic and with a beauty diffuser.... This one is too much money ... Way too much money
